Has anyone seen the new X-Force roster cover coming in two months yet? Note: Don't spoil as this might give us some ideas. You mean Weapon X-Force? Haven’t heard much since they said something about it in May. Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Domino, and Omega Red all on the same team with a few others. Haven’t seen a full roster yet. The roster was revealed yesterday. Your list is only missing one character. It’s not the most revolutionary team.

Weapon X is one of those titles I should like more then I do. The line up intrigues me, but the stories have left me blah.

I did a prop for a X-Men type mini called "Avenging X-Men" with a team a mutants working as Avengers based X-Men lead by Iron Patriot. The mini would end with Cable taking over and recalling them X-Force for a possible relaunch title. My roster would be: Juggernaut, Silk, Mystique, Mondo, Iron Pariot, Cordelia Frost. I wanted to bring Cordelia and Mondo back to find out what happened to those characters, as for Silk, see my What If Spider-Man Joined The X-Men for that idea.

Cordelia Frost immediately catches my eye since the only canon ability she’s ever displayed is immunity to Emma’s powers.

Wow this is strange, I was just about to contradict you but I fact checked myself first and you're right. Despite being referred to as a mutant in the past she's never shown any powers besides the aforementioned immunity. I could have SWORN she was an empath. In fact I thought I heard to referred to in a comic as the "Charles Xavier of empaths" specifically. Now this is gonna bother me... am I thinking of someone else or did I just make all that crap up in own head?

However, it was the case at UncannyXMen.Net for their 617 fan fiction universe and something makes me think someone took that and edited a wiki once. I once developed a sister to Indra’s character called Parvati and then found that information had been used on a Wikia as fact. Despite the fact she was original. Eventually it all gets fixed and the facts remain. Neither Cordelia or Christian, despite displaying powers in fan fiction, ever presented mutant powers on panel. Actually Googling Parvati, the unnamed sister that is never named and mentioned once, still draws a result.

My idea in my series was to make her the black sheep of the Frost sisters, sort of the bratty little sister trying to do good in the world. I still might use her though.

To be fair, for characters most underwhelmingly used, the Frost siblings were quite well defined through Emma’s flashbacks. Adrienne was the eldest and most like their father, Winston. She was formulaic, cold and calculating. She became a great businesswoman both at Frost Technologies and in her own right. Also, she was the only sibling bar Emma to be given a power. Christian was the next and the only son, but he was softer and a bit of a clichè when his homosexuality was compared to his characterisation. Emma was imperfect, and rebellious which led her to villainy in an attempt to prove herself. Cordelia was the spunkiest, short hair and bold fashion choices. She was also known for being devious and cunning, but very sly in the way she did so.
If anyone should be the empath, I’d say it was Christian because it’s more fitting of his highly emotional and tragic character. Vocal manipulation or something would work better for Cordelia, it would allow her to control those around her to meet her needs without directly involving herself. As Adrienne could gather information through touch and Emma became a telepath (allowing her to manipulate perceptions of her) and take on organic diamond forms (a literal shield), the Frost siblings powers would all then be connected to their characterisations.
It would actually make for an interesting story to develop them and their relationship more fully.

I had the idea of Mojo as the main villain and sending evil clones of The Avengers to attack New York. I wanted to do an X-Men series that was going to be just more like out of the main members of the X-family. I did like the short lived Uncanny X-Men M2K version, and I wanted to do a new roster who haven't been X-Men before in M2K cannon. Right now, I want to get a mini series together just for starters.

What is the deal with the current Weapon X comic? What is their mission?
I tried the first arc and left when I realized out was mostly just setting up the Weapon H comic.
What makes them a team?

I must say Patrick that at first blush that does sound a bit similar to what Ed's doing over in AWC. Evil clones of the Avengers sent from another world... Christian was the next and the only son, but he was softer and a bit of a clichè when his homosexuality was compared to his characterisation. Emma was imperfect, and rebellious which led her to villainy in an attempt to prove herself. I've always had a soft spot for the Frosts. Once I was trying to get a pitch together that heavily involved them and I gave Christian to power to leech sanity from others, thus temporarily curing his own mental issues (as of this writing he is locked in a mental ward in 616 yes?). His victims' long term health depended on how long he used his power on them and he could make their psychosis permanent if allowed to hold on for too long.

It’s a very interesting take on his tragic experience and how that can create the very villains that our heroes have to face. Particularly as Emma played a part in that, she knew who her father was and the hatred he could inspire. She should have looked for her brother, who she was closest too. I’d read it. And yeah, Christian was institutionalised and never heard from again so it’s safe to assume he’s still there. That said, the backstory with Christian may have appeared after the cut off.

I would read this story as well. The whole leeching sanity from people reminds me of Glory the God who sucked peoples minds in order to feed herself from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Imagine if Christian did go a little crazy and then somehow teamed up with someone like Emplate. He takes their sanity and Emplate takes what he needs to survive.

There's definitely a pretty decent story in there. Even better if the tone is macabre.
