I wanted to like his Doctor Strange, but the art bugged me and he had a tendency to write Doctor Strange like Tony Stark that hurt it.

Wildstorm: I generally like Warren Ellis and I appreciate what he is doing, trying to rebuild a world from the ground up, and would love to try something similar, but even with prior knowledge of the WU, I'm confused as to what is what and is this going anywhere. If you are coming into this as a new reader, does any of this make sense?
and it's Warren, so 75% of the cast are crazy bastards. Think I would have preferred if he'd just picked one Windstorm team and focused on them.

I like to keep WS in the DCU, but in a alternate universe that won't effect the main universe. I might go back and read JLA/Avengers after what happened with the JL film, and I mean the M2K/JLU2001 version and the main crossover. I like to see a JLA/X-Men crossover since we never got it finished in Marvel V. DC 2.

What little I've seen of The Wildstorm reminds me of NewUniversal, which was Ellis' attempt to reboot the New Universe concept. At that time, I loved it because I hadn't read any of those old titles. But here, I've read and loved a lot of Wildstorm, and I just do not like this approach. Too much too soon, this has no appeal for new readers and even the most hardcore old fans will sour on this.
But yeah, a focus on WildCATS or Stormwatch would have been the way to go. Or they fight each other: big government's eye-in-the-sky against a too-big-to-fail corporation's covert action team.

Iron Man if we're talking about the site only.
Not really reading any comics at the moment. Might dive into my Hellboys before long.

As a guy who loves Old Wildstorm, I can say that Warren Ellis' Wild Storm has me hooked. It's exactly what a modern version of Wild Storm should be - BIG SPACE ESPIONAGE with little smatterings of crazy Wild Storm in there, like Jenny, or Shen.
I'm reading Wicked and Divine, and Saga, Wild Storm, Doctor Strange, Champions and I intend to pick up Mystic U more regularly (although not that fussed thus far) and Ragman/Demon. I have lost interest entirely in DC since Rebirth. It has captured nothing from the original universe, and nothing FUN from Nu52. It's all very safe and calm.

After a brief hiatus over the Christmas period, I am back to buying a handful of TPB's every week to both keeps me entertained, and provide some inspiration.
This week I snagged:
Action Comics: Vol. 4: The New World (Rebirth). Nightwing: Vol. 4: Blockbuster (Rebirth). Batgirl: Vol. 2: Son of Penguin (Rebirth).

Reading an intresting journal about toxicity in Quagga Mussels ATM.
Outside the titles at M2K and DC2000 I'm not reading comics ATM, feeling a bit disapointed with what's out there.

I haven't kept up with current comics in long time. As of now the only one I'm still current with is 'The Wicked + The Divine'. I was just so unbelievably tired of reboots, crossovers and retcons...

I just read some classic Scooby-Doo DC Comics from my collection. I read book one of Robocop: To Protect and Serve, and started reading Jane the Boom OGN version. I have a mini called Teenagers from Mars about comic books being banned in one town. I also read the first three books of Amulet.

EC Comics Frontline Combat: Never got into the EC horror stuff, but I love their adventure, historical and war comics. Pick them up whenever I find an issue.
also found a Marvel Western issue in the cheap box: Origin of the Rawhide kid is reprinted and Kid Colt stops a bank robbery.

I read a bit of everything honestly. I keep up with all the Bat-titles especially Detective Comics since Tim is back. I also read Teen Titans and Titans as well. On the Marvel side, I tend to read a little of everything. I have enjoyed the Wildstorm story as well as Michael Cray with him hunting twisted versions of DC Heroes like Green Arrow and Flash. As usual, I am still reading TMNT and Ghostbusters. I am trying to catch up with Transformers but ever since they crossed everything over it has been hard to keep up with certain storylines.

I gotta say the current Avengers event does not suck.
I'm a bit concerned what is going to happen to certain teams/heroes, but it is a pretty decent read.
