So, he's back as a villain with Firestar and Wolfsbane thanks to Emma Frost. Can't wait this Secret Empire crap is over with, cause I'm tired big event stories that cover all the titles you have to get all the books to tie-in to the main story.

I think they are all being manipulated by thinking they are doing the right thing for their home land, and with Frost pulling Xorns strings like a puppet master. Firestar seemed to really have trouble following orders during the fight. Havok on the other hand is starting to act like his AoA counter part Prelate Summers.

So in the recent issue of X-Men Blue we get the return of Mondo after how many years now. I guess the writer of the series decided to go digging through the X Handbook and see who has not shown up in a while and toss them in the book. That's terribly common these days. Internal logic be damned, writers throw any like characters together for a scene and then forget about it. Hell, Strong Guy killed Rahne's son in Peter David's X-Factor, yet we see him acting buddy buddy with the X-Men as if nothing's happened.

Trust me, shit got weird towards the end of PAD's X-Factor, but writers shouldn't be allowed to forget stuff like that.

He was but I think it was the Death of X story he showed back up with Rahne and they were morning the death of Multiple Man. I agree with you on that if you are going to change something like that then you should really explain what happened. Did he get thrown out, did someone give him his soul back, did he just get bored and wanted a vacation. Just to ignore it is the lame way to go about it.

Guido as lord of hell was actually overturned in Thunderbolts. He wrestled Red Hulk in an amazingly lame manner, then just toddled off somewhere.
Kinda wish we'd seen Guido this much before PAD's X-Factor. He crosses a moral line, and all of a sudden, he's Mr. Popular?

Strong Guy was in the recent issue of Amazing Spider-Man, only to be thrown up Team Rocket style by Doc Ock's tentacles. The only problem with that scene is why didn't Psylocke attack Otto for what he just did? I know this is Spidey's title, but Otto calling Beast a dolt was insulting one of comics iconic geniuses. Hank would have dealt with that insult and avenged Strong Guy if he survived the fall.

Beast was playing the part of diplomat at that point dealing with Otto as he works for Supreme Commander Steve Rogers and was there for the hard drives from Parker Tech. In the story going on there is a thin line between Hydra and the land of New Tian that Hank is trying to keep from creating an all out war because he knows if Captain America brought the full force of Hydras might on them they would not survive. Better to let an insult slide then to risk creating an all out war.
