I know what you mean, although the Earth-13 is the one that REALLY clicked with me. I've always, believe it or not, been a Supernatural guy. I've just been veering more violently towards the nature part of the last ten years, than the Supernatural part. I hear you. I bet every one who has seen the handbook has one Earth that they go 'That one! That's mine." and then there are probably 17 others in second place.

Earth-13 League of Shadows would be epic. Those character designs are beautiful.
Oh aye, they are and they're sort of what you'd expect from a more...well, magic based world. Zatanna, in particular, is a stunning design. I started working on a design for that world based on some stray bits - Hellblazer from that world first appeared in Morrison's Doom Patrol, alongside Superhero versions of the Phantom Stranger, Dr 13, and Mr E, Super Demon also turned up in Morrison's Animal Man. The idea that he was a refugee and last surviving member of the planet Kamelot is amazing. In lieu of anything else, an Elseworlds bit for me would be great fun - Not that I don't have my own idea for DC2K. I’d definitely read it, be it one-off issues or a series. You’d do wonders.

On a recent podcast, a comic writer was ranting how events are never permanent by saying 'Superman was never going to stay dead!' and now I'm imagining a universe where he did and the four Supermen kept their titles, each trying to be superman in their own way and that was the status quo.

I would love that. Would the Eradicator completely lose it? I imagine he would.

I would love that. Would the Eradicator completely lose it? I imagine he would. It stuck with me because the characters had such a short time in the spotlight before Superman came back and then DC wasn't sure what to do next. But, what if there wasn't a finish line? Long term, you don't need the twist, so cyborg Superman stays a hero. Which of the four does the JLA ask to join? It's stuck in my brain now.

I'd think Steel would get the invite since he was an actual JLA member for a bit, then I assume Young Justice would form as planned with Impulse and Robin alongside Superboy.

It depends on what other relationships he's built since his debut, or even who's in the League when there's no Superman.

It depends on what other relationships he's built since his debut, or even who's in the League when there's no Superman. That's the beauty of it. You can go in so many directions Heck, just deciding which Superman is part of the world's finest duo could keep a guy busy for days.

I could see Chris Kent(or whatever last name of whoever ends up adopting him) possibly being the Superboy founder of Young Justice if Conner somehow got voted into the League. Hell, that idea could be its own site. "World Without a Superman" and how Clark's permanent death changed the DCU as a whole.

Yeah, I quickly realized how fast this goes from 'This would be a cool idea' to 'Did I just create an imprint...?'
and I'm behind enough on my writing

Same here. Might be an interesting concept for an Action Comics annual at some point.

I had this weird concept of doing an Elseworld tale where Batman meets a more realistic version of Mystery Incorporated, with Batman still the Dark Knight dealing with a band of teen detectives and their dog to solve a case not even Batman can't solve with a twist surprise.

Watching 'Crisis on Earth X' on the CW, I now want a CW version of the Crime Syndicate of Earth 3 with these actors. It's fun seeing them as evil, but an episode where they are just jerks, running their Earth would be fun.
I could spend days deciding what the 53 CW Earths are.

An interview with an ex-marvel editor included the sentence 'If Marvel had published Watchmen..."
What would a Marvel Watchmen even look like? It wouldn't have been based on the Charlton heroes. The mind boggles...!
