Immediate thought after reading Doom Patrol Issue 2.
I have to agree with Chloe, a talking Gorilla is still worthy of note, especially one wearing stylish headwear.

Immediate thoughts after reading Doom Patrol Issue 3.
Possible spoilers ahead...
. . . . .
First of all, I want my turn playing a talking Gorilla at chess. I'm no good at chess, but I believe the experience is worthy enough.
Second of all, somebody had best bail those girls out of prison post haste. Being in another country is no excuse.

The girls are going to be off stage for a couple issues. Which means the guys are most likely going to get into trouble...and end up in outer space. As happens when men are unsupervised and must fend for themselves.

Question for the Doom Patrol readership, all four of you,: The team is heading into space, any particular locales or DC cosmic beings people would like to see show up?
I've got a scribbled list, as always, but I thought it might be interesting to see what the general public suggested.

They could find themselves on the planet Colu in the middle of a bunch Brainiacs.

Doom Patrol. Waverider. Anti-Monitor. The Linear Men. And the Blue Lanterns. And the Star Sapphires. And a couple of inter-dimensional paradoxes and/or accidental tesseract universes. Maybe Shade, the Changing Man. With Aztek, Monarch and Extant along for the ride. And the Heckler, of course. On the empty planet of Czarnia, where all the Czarnians died.

Czarnia? Is that Lobo's planet?
Flex Mentallo vs Lobo is very appealing to me for some strange reason.

Did Barry mess with the time stream again? π Hahah! , Yes of course he did. During his team up with Booster Gold. Remember? Three or four Infinite Crises ago? π

I like the idea of a completely depopulated, trashed planet that's sole inhabitant is Lobo.

Doom Patrol preview:( it was fun reading the other previews, so I thought I'd do one):
The story so far: Something messed with reality (yet again) and Danny the street scooped up the Doom Patrol to help him deal with it. Except, it's not the Doom Patrol you were expecting. With Cliff nonresponsive and the Chief busy fixing toasters, Negative man has been cast as reluctant leader of not just the Doom Patrol, but the eccentric population of Danny the street.
What's happened: While struggling to work as a team, the Doom Patrol has encountered aliens, the inter-dimensional corporation that created Danny, almost fought the Chinese Army, lost half its members and found Robot man ( just not the one they were looking for)
What's going to happen: Flex Mentallo takes the local kids out for ice cream and tells them a story about his Earth and his old team, the Fastidious 5!
Mallah's quest to find the Brain kicks in to gear. if he finds his missing friend/partner in crime how does that effect his relationship with the Patrol? Is the elusive Brain just hiding or is he up to no good?
We've got a Robotman on the team, but not the right one and the Chief isn't any of the ones we've seen before...that's probably gonna get complicated before it gets sorted out.
Plus, lots more weird stuff with aliens, a whole bunch of relationship issues and yes, Cliff Steele is coming back!
