I know at the end of Cable and Deadpool, Adam Essex popped up into the m2K world. Anyone plan on using him?

Hmm. I think Brad has at least one issue left of Cable/Deadpool that he's been working on for a little while, and possibly a spin-off, but it's been a while since I've chatted with him. Brad! Ya out there?

Whoa, I've REALLY dropped off the face of the Earth! Why am I glowing? Ah well, probably not that important...
To answer Eric's question—I had a vague idea to develop a mini-series starring Adam Essex as the "new" Sinister, hunting down the remaining members of the Clan Akkaba. I've been hard at work on other projects (including a potential new design template for the site), but I'm ready to jump back into the M2K craziness!

Wooo! The Return of Bradeo (For He Is The One).
Can't wait to see any potential redesigns you may have. M2K could use a bit of a make over these days to help revitalize things.

This thread makes me think about the fact that so many of the major X villains are off the table at m2k. Apocalypse, shadow king, and sinister are off the table. Exodus went good guy on us. Sebastian shaw could maybe use a good build up. There are a few folks we could maybe introduce into continuity and make into a problem. And there's always the option of original characters. Just seems the X side is lacking big threats at the moment in M2k.

So you must make this mini happen. I would so read it. The Clan Akabba was a cool concept that kind of got put through the ringer at Marvel.

The Neo are in a less than stellar place because of chappy writing from myself. Though I suppose with some work that they could be salvaged. But I believe Ed is using the children over in Elementals.

Eh, I've always found the biggest X-Villain to be the fear and hatred that exists in the world. Occasionally the X-Men have to stop a bad mutant from stoking those fires or help a new mutant from an angry mob. The X-Men have never really needed big major threats. Introduce one new mutant for conflict in each story, it would take years to go through the 50+ characters created in the past 10 years.

Yea I think you're right Steve, but there still should be some kind of rogues gallery. We're sort of lacking there, but I agree that the solution to that is probably easy enough.

Apocalypse died in the Apocalypse 2000 crossover way back. Shadow King was killed during The Shadow War crossover. Sinister bit the bullet in Cable and Deadpool. Exodus became a good guy way early in Marvel 2000's history.

I feel like I have so much to catch up on. But it's kind of fun. Reminds me of when I first got into comics and had so much continuity to learn. Any recommendations on seminal stories I should try to catch up on X-Wise?
