So I'm reading up on various things M2K, trying to get a better grasp on history. X-Men Prime was very rocky for a while, but it finally got its stride with this issue. The narrative was alot stronger and it felt like the story is really moving somewhere. But who is baby Jacob? Jean and Scott had a son? And when did Cerebro become so sentient?

X-Men Prime #14
The characterizations in this are really strong. Everyone interacts together in a way that is believable and seems to be true to whatever history they have at the site. IDK why but Cannonball, Beast, Dazzler and Domino was just awesome to read together. Even the Senate scene was compelling in this issue. The baby burning scene was rough. I can't imagine Jubilee, Magma and Radius not having to pay for that! Oh and the ending was pretty damn sweet. Whatever happened to this Prelate guy?

Glad to hear you liked Brad and I's old series. Jacob is Wolverine's son, who was conceived as a host for the Shadow King, and was left in Scott and Jean's care after Wolverine and Elektra "died" in the Wolverine series. I think Cerebro was sort of just... randomly rebuilt as sentient at the start of X-Men Prime when Dino and David started the series. As for Prelate (Alex Summers from the Age of Apocalypse), he was brought to the M2K universe a very long time ago in X-Men Omega, I think. I don't think he was ever seen again after this.

Well I would be VERY interested in seeing Prelate pop up again somewhere. I think him meeting up with the dark beast or sugar man could be interesting. Are those guys still alive in m2k continuity?

So is Wolverine M2k's Jean Grey? Hah. Not exactly. Wolverine disappeared in a nuclear explosion and was assumed dead. He was later revealed to have survived, but was badly burned and scarred, and had amnesia for a while and sort of wondered around until his healing factor repaired all of the damage. This hasn't exactly left him unscathed, though...
