I've heard stories, but then I've actually seen the Justice League pilot with David Ogden-Stiers. Nothing can be as bad as that.

Tough call on what to do with them, as integrating Windstorm into the DCU, done right could be fun. Some GEn13 kids join the Teen Titans. WildCats either in space or as a 'Men in Black' type team on Earth. Majestic subbing for Superman in the JLA or being a member of the JSA during WW2 Power Girl and Fairchild jello wrestling...did I say that last one out loud...?
At the same time, giving them an earth of their own, where they could be reimagined from day one and occasionally cross over. Instead of annual JLA/JSA team ups it could be JLA/Youngblood.
Possibilities are endless. All this has got me thinking it might be fun to maybe put a couple Windstorm characters in my Doom Patrol line up. Or have them fight Daemonites..

Wow! That Gen 13 cartoon is very...um... 90's. I did not realize how many image properties were up to get cartoons. The Youngblood promo is entertainingly awful.

After reading the first issue of Warren Ellis' 'Windstorm' I now want to write Wildcats.
I am so easily distracted, I'm becoming the dog from 'UP' in my old age.

Went through a Cyberforce obsession, where I picked up most of the first Image series in cheap boxes. Great designs, but by issue 25, the writing was a mess and felt like it was running out of steam.
and I found an issue of Codename: Strykeforce for fifty cents. Decent idea. Kind of like if Wolverine helped pay the bills for the X-men by running a mere team.

I kind of wanted to do a new JL series with Wildstorm characters. Grifter, Zelot, Warblade, Apollo, Midnighter, and Ivana would be the one to form the team. Black Lighting, Plastic Man, and Vixen would be the few DC heroes as part of the new team.

There was talk of doing something with Wildstorm, but the world falling apart derailed any decision on how the WU would fit into the multi-verse.
Someday.

All the talk of the Authority on James Gunn's list of DC projects reminded me I'd love to do something with them. But, just the version we got from Warren Ellis' run. Everything after Ellis list is a dumpster fire.
Though, it baffles me why you'd choose to give a movie to the team known for taking the piss out of the Justice Legue when you haven't actually done a justice league movie? Obviously, it's to cash in on the Boys being a big deal, but it's a bit sad that if you want to deconstruct super heroes, you get green lit faster than if you want to just tell a super hero story.

I like the concept of the Creature Commandos of a band of iconic monsters fighting Nazis in WW2. I would love to do helm a limited series with them, but do it in the style of Hellboy and Helsing. Yeah, Nazis and supernatural occult mixed in with R rated horror.
