I love how you're delving into the Kryptonian heritage and showing us Kara's life before things went to Hell, as well as the line "HE is going to need you." You meant Jimmy Olsen, right? Can't wait to see what #2 has in store because you're off to a great start.

Thank you for the feedback and kind words XD
As is the case for most of us, Kara's past is going to be a big part of her future, so I'm glad to see you enjoyed her time on Krypton. One of the fundamental differences between Clark and Kara is that while Clark is aware of his heritage, Kara actually lived it. The loss of Krypton and it's people is, dare I say, an abstract one for the Last Son, but for Maiden of Might, it's something that happened, and that will have a huge impact on how she moves forwards.
That, and where she ends up next...

Supergirl #1: Wow, that was really good! Krypton is hard to write ( see how badly they did it on Smallville) but you have a handle on it, and could have easily done a series set there and I would have been just as happy.
Kara feels right, she feels like a teenager and I'm interested to see her evolve into super girl.

Thanking you kindly for the kind words, they are much appreciated, and I hope you enjoy the issues that follow just as much. When I started writing Girl of Steel, I wanted the opening arc to be about putting Kara on the anvil, and hopefully you'll enjoy that journey as much as I enjoyed writing it. Getting as much about Krypton across as I could within a relatively short period of time proved to be a real challenge. I knew what I wanted in my head, but getting that across the page without slowing the story down is no easy feat for me, so I'm glad it sounds like I pulled it off.
