When Inigo Montoya finally confronts Rugen. "I want my father back, you son of a bitch." How often do we get such a satisfying resolution to a life-long goal? Not just that but Mandy Patinkin's line delivery? Heartbreaking! Again, like Ghostbusters, that was when they could successfully accomplish mixing drama and humor together seamlessly.

There's a lot to pick from in Season 5 of Angel, one of the best seasons of TV for my money but few get as emotionally rich as SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW DO NOT READ BELOW
Wesley's death in the finale. Wesley's whole character arc in the show is one of the most impressive bits of character work I've witnessed and the culmination of it here is bittersweet and sad in a way I can only hope to accomplish in my own work. Illyria taking the form of Fred as he passes away is the perfect finshing note for a perfect character. "Would you like me to lie to you now?" "Yes, thank you, yes."

Angel has one of my favorite finales, not to mention the very last line is one of my all time favorites.

I have some problems with both Buffy and Angel's later seasons but Amy Acker's performance is not one of them. My God that woman can take a script and make it sing! As Fred, as Illyria... AMAZING.

A recent, great moment I can think of is Deadpool 35. The only good thing to come out of Secret Empire, IMO
Deadpool pulls himself out of the rubble that Maria Hill buried him under, too late to help save the day against Hydra and now left to face the entirety of his actions. He flashes back to the sweet moment as he's officially inducted to the Avengers (with people he killed and/betrayed), reflecting on how it felt to be asked by Captain America to join the Avengers.
"Yeah, it was the best."
The best (and worst) moment of Wade's career thus far, IMO

I don't think anything will compare to when I first read A Song of Ice and Fire, the book series that begins with A Game of Thrones. The third book, A Storm of Swords, has a chapter that to this day I cannot reread. That first time was one of those moments where I had to walk away and decompress. Even skipping over that chapter though, you sense the foreboding in the previous chapters, see the foreshadowing in the previous book. So masterfully constructed. "Was there ever a wedding less joyful?"

One of the few moments in a Deadpool comic that I liked, blanking on the issue number, but he has to ride the subway and a kid comes up to Deadpool, mistaking him for Spider-man and thanking him for saving his dad from the Rhino or something. Deadpool lets the kid hug him and sends him on his way.
In a series which can be annoyingly snarky, it was a nice, sweet little scene.

The first time Tony Stark puts on the MK 3 armour in Iron Man.
The build up, the execution, the atmosphere are all pitch perfect throughout the entire sequence and for me, when the chest piece falls into place and the centre lights up, that marks the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tony Starks evolution into Iron Man is complete, and nothing will be the same again.

>SPOILER WRNING<
When Eleanor realizes they've been in the "bad place" the whole time is a great moment in television!

I now want to add "And get that man a shield!" from the Infinity war trailer as one of my favorite story moments. I'll wait until the film. Trailers can be misleading. The man who says that line may not have been talking about the man who appeared in the next frame. That said, Captain America leaving the shield behind in CA:CW was a top moment. There were no winners in that film.

You're not wrong there Daniel, Civil War is my favorite MCU film. Mine too. I can't think of another action movie in which two well developed characters went at one another like that, and was 'resolved' in the manner that it was.
