When it comes to writing your titles for DC2K do you stay with everything that has happened or do you edit or just look over some events be it small or major? I’ve already heard from Emma and her choice for what she’s done with Batgirl. What about the rest of the group?

I wanted DC2K to pick up after Rebirth, but also for writers to have the freedom to choose their character histories. With all of rebooting that DC does, I didn't think there would be too many issues with that (plus, ya know, this is fanfic and we're not exactly held to certain standards). For Batman, I'll acknowledge the major events and developments over the years, but probably won't base any future plots on them. I like to more forward instead of rehashing past stories.
That being said, as far as the integral character of Batman, I'm writing him as a "baseline" version. That means, like the plots, I'll acknowledge his past development and interactions with other characters, but will likely just move him forward on my own terms as opposed to building off of what Grant Morrison or Tom King have done with him. Hence my initial "Fools On Parade" arc, in which Batman was duped, worn down, and captured. In the next arc, "Hospital of Pain," Batman will be built back up how I want him.

With red Hood I only acknowledge what Judd winick did with him and ignore literally everything else, hence how the entire arc for Nightmare came to fruition

On Doom Patrol I'm using everything from every series and jamming it together like some kind of demented jigsaw puzzle.
With smaller projects, I see what the New 52 version is and if it looks like too much work, it becomes an elseworld.

I'm definitely a continuity junkie so with my series anything that's ever been said about the New Gods should be considered possible till said otherwise

As far as Action Comics and Impulse are concerned, everything pre-Flashpoint/New 52/Rebirth still stands as canon. Bart still died in Flashpoint (and has obviously come back since), and Jon's birth can be chalked up to Rebirth, but other than that I'm pretty much ignoring everything else since continuity was rewritten by Barry's return .

Not gonna lie, Justice League Dark plays fast and loose with the New 52/Rebirth canon.

How I do Teen Titans is to reboot the series as if the New 52 Poo never happened. Jackson Hyde becomes Aqualad and gets his time to shine before the DC reboot happened. I liked the Young Justice cartoon as it gave me the idea for Happy Harbor to be the Titans new base, and I nodded Jump City from the cartoon in the first issue that leads to the launch of the series. Arrowette is Artemis from the Young Justice cartoon, as Chrissie King could make a return in an upcoming arc. The reason Maul from WildC.A.T.s is part of the Titans is when DC2K came out about using Wildstorm characters in the site out or within the DC titles, I wanted to have a muscle on the team and the rest is history.
I'm going to have Billy Numerous, See More, and Kitten from the TT cartoon in an upcoming arc. I also do plan to add a certain pink insect as well.
