We get to about one comic convention a year and decided to try this one and boy was it worth it!
Got an issue of All Star Squadron signed by both Roy Thomas and Jerry Ordway Was in the same room with Jim Starlin Got to chat with Art and Franco from Aw Yeah comics And brought home a big stack of comics...for research purposes obviously.
Nice place and really good crowd control. Never felt crushed or had trouble getting somewhere.
Anybody else do any cons?

I do MCM in London. Often cosplay as tired Eco-Toxicologist Man

I do a pretty impressive cosplay of a middle-aged guy who owns to many comic books myself.

Some loot I got:
Die-cut 2-4: I am aware that marvel UK was mostly a train wreck, but I have a weird fascination with them. The art is early Image wannabe, but the writing is weird and clever.
Great American Western: AC comics seems constantly on the verge of collapse, but I love their golden age reprints. These are, obviously, all GA western heroes.
Convergence: Infinity Inc: decent story, ugly art. I collect the Convergence minis all through cheap boxes
