Ok. Here it goes. This is actually my first female character
Codename: 'Esperanza' de la Muerte
Real Name: Sofia Vega Cruz
Date of Birth: November 1, 1992
Place of Birth: Leon, Mexico
Origin: Mystical avatar
Powers and Abilities: Invulnerability
Back Story: Sofia Vega Cruz 1992 - 2016 Beloved mother to Juan Carlo deceased husband, Maria deceased daughter, Esperanza Inez, twin sister, Mateo Jose ,father and Rosa Maria, mother.
Sofia was born a twin in the town of Leon, Mexico. She was a free spirit much like her sister. She was a good student, a practitioner of her faith, and loving mother and wife. While eating at a restaurant, her entire family was caught in the crossfire of a drug cartel war. With her dying breathe she pleaded not to die to seek revenge on the scourge that had plagued Mexico. That plea was granted as her eyes opened to notice her face resembled Santa Muerte, the Mexican personification of death. Granted with invulnerability, she has taken the fight back to the cartel as a widow for her family. She does not know what she is anymore. She does not know how exactly she got her powers. She could care less.
The chants from the innocent children of Mexico ring out, 'Viva la Muerte.'
Played By/Looks Like: I like that's she connected to a family. It really adds something to a character when they aren't young, free and single. (Obviously she's the young part since she's only 24). You used classic Mexican imagery for her and it really works! I'm getting Ghost Rider meets La Llorona vibes with would be super fun! Good interpretation of the power, you can harm what's already dead 😂

There should only be one, and it's randomly selected.

I thought the family part was very important to the culture of the character. The whole Ghost Rider/ La Llorona vibe is dead on. I wanted to go with an angry woman vibe. No special forces training but just goes on pure emotion to inflict damage since her power set is pretty much a shield. In my mind I have the fact that her twin died being a bridge between life and death for her power.

A shady goverment no less. Project Serket does takes its name from an Egyptian Goddess but there is nothing divine going on here. Just ask a certain Agent of Argent this Halloween... Oh? Are you introducing Project Sekhet into Agents of Argent then? Just the creepy abandoned facility she was created in

Codename: Resurgence Real Name: Garrett Cooper Date of Birth: 08/09/1999 Place of Birth: Melbourne, Australia Origin: Man-Made Powers and Abilities: The ability to revive after dying within minutes depending on the death. Back Story: Having died in a car accident, Garrett had been taken a morgue where the attendant accidentally used toxic waste instead of embalming fluid. Garrett revived and his wounds healed, restoring him to the way he was before he died. Weeks later, Garrett ended up dying again during a convenience store robbery, only to instantly revive after having been shot by the robber. Soon Garrett discovered that the toxic waste had given him immortality, which he started using to keep his neighborhood safe. Looks Like: Ed Oxenbould (The Visit)
Unfortunately, Garrett soon realized this power came with a curse. Garrett's appearance can never change as cut hair will instantly regrow and he'll never age beyond his seventeen years. Having been a skinny teenager pre-death, Garrett found he can never gain muscle mass, meaning he had to find a way to use his mind to solve his problems over force, meaning he'd have to work harder than any hero on the field if he wanted to be good at the job; and then the realization that he would outlive all of his friends and family soon hit him, causing Garrett to devote his life to not only using his power to help people, but also research ways to reverse what was done to him in the hopes that one day he can be at peace when he's ready to finally die.
Originally I was going to go much, MUCH darker with this. Originally I had Garrett at 12 and dying a Final Destination type death every day, having royally pissed Death itself off due to his inability to die. I may still go that route if I ever actually use the character, maybe with Garrett trying to incorporate Death's vengeance into his gameplan for stopping crime.

Codename: Shockwave
Real Name: Alice Quinntin
DOB: 6/15/1992
Origin of Power: Man Made
Powers: To create electric based powers from her body
Backstory: After saving some kids from a powerful storm, Alice is hit by the bolts of thunder and lighting that not only didn't kill her but transformed her into a living electrical being. Now given a special suit to protect her and everyone around her, Alice is hired by the government to use her gift to take down treats.
Note: I used the generator to pick the power and gave me the idea to give Alice the origin similar to Live Wire's in Superman TAS and mixed with the Jamie Fox version of Electro from ASM 2, but without the emo beat music. I did like Static Shock years ago and wanted Shockwave to be a female version of that character.

Codename: Peter Pan Real Name: Andrew Peters Date of Birth: March 4th 1994 Place of Birth: Hastings, Sussex, England Origin: Genetic mystical inheritance Powers and Abilities: Telekinesis, move objects and people with the mind. Back Story: As a child of only nine, Andrew's mother took him to a nearby wooded area for a picnic. Always an exuberant young boy much to his shy mother's dismay, he found she had changed her tone quite a bit for some reason on the particular day, she encouraged him to go and play with a group of kids on an outing from a local children's home. Upon returning however he discovered his mother had taken the opportunity to abandon him. Taken in by that very same children's home (which had presumably been her plan) this trauma stayed with Andrew for all his life, some say stunting his personal growth to that of a child at least socially no longer the extrovert he turned inwards and pulled away from others. As he grew though he soon developed in other ways, finding that things moved around him of their own accord. Tween/teen Andrew cited this incidents to his guardians as being the fault of his "shadow" and imaginary friend of his. Feeling he was too old for such adolescent flights of fancy the stern wardens of the home chose "tough love" to varying degrees and it was under such treatment that his psychosis only increased. His psychokinetic outbursts caught the attentions of Doctor Occult and Rose Psychic who tried to tutor him, seeing he had vast mystical potential, but the young man's immaturity made this difficult and instead they focused on helping him control his innate power instead. Under their tutelage he finally discovered his mother's secret. She was in fact Madame Xanadu, he being one of the many bastard offspring she'd birthed in her immortal life and having been reared only till he could be sent off so she could continue her occult destiny unencumbered. This served to only make him more bitter about his past and move more inward, finally some part of his mind truly believing his power was in fact the work of his "shadow" his imaginary friend come to life. This caused him to develop a third personality (the shadow already counting as his "alter") that of the flamboyant 'Peter Pan'. His childhood exuberance given voice. The defensive and introspective Andrew giving way to a force of nature who fought crime alongside his mischievous "shadow". Using his telekinesis to fly like a fairy and only, to a clinical degree, thinking "happy thought". He made his mark on the crime (both super and otherwise) of the greater UK area with an old fashioned pirate's cutlass and a dashing smile on to retire home at the end of it all thinking it no more than a dream. Played By/Looks Like: I imagine the Robbie Kay version of Peter Pan from Once Upon a Time but a little older, where you get the feeling he's a man in his 20s who really should have grown out of this dress up phase by now.

I actually like the original idea. As a whole, I enjoy the entire idea. His origin, being injected with toxic waste instead of embalming fluid, definitely makes for a fun and unique take on being a hero. As a twelve year old? It just gets ramped up to one hundred. It would also add another layer because eventually, when he started to get attracted to other people, he wouldn't really be able to act on that since he's physically twelve. It reminds me a bit of Marvel's Babykiller, and that that frustration could make for a really interesting arc. Also, props on going Australian. I've never liked the accent but I'm always here for international flavour.
Her back story is a bit sparse so I don't really get a feel for her as a character. Where is she from? What was her life before she was transformed into Shockwave? Those kinds of questions are the information developed in prose when writing characters. Otherwise, you end up with a bunch of talking heads and no differential characters. Although, the imagery of Live Wire and the Jamie Fox Electro gives me a little more inside. I'd point out, she was struck by lightning. Lightning strikes, thunder rolls (as in thunder is the sound). With inspirations such as those, she could definitely be an interesting character to see.
I'd just call him Pan but, by God, that is so tragic and sad. I actually feel for the boy, fictional as he is. Also, shout out for explicitly choosing DC, for some reason the others resonated with me as Marvel characters. A tragic back story, what seem's to be dissociative identity disorder, and a playful use of his character as a hero makes me think he could definitely be a very interesting character to read about. I like that he stayed a UK hero because there aren't many of them, particularly amongst DC. Robbie Kay was great as Pan too, so I can't fault the inspiration.

Now that you mention it, Resurgence does give off a Marvel vibe, doesn't he? I hadn't put him in one column or the other when I wrote up his bio, but Marvel works. Putting him at 12 would offer more of a challenge for not only the reasons you listed but also because after so many years he'd be an adult mind in a child's body, kind of the extreme opposite of Dan's Peter Pan character.
Putting human based obstacles in his way to where he really can't function in the adult world despite growing older than everyone he knows kind of makes up for the fact that there are real weaknesses for someone who literally can't die beyond tossing him in a crate and sending him to the bottom of the ocean.
"Great, this villain is tearing up Downtown and all I have to get there is this crappy 10-speed."

I seem to be having a hard time giving these up lol Codename: Amazing Grace Real Name: Grace Augustine (legal), Seth Banks (birth/dead) Date of Birth: May 2nd 1999 Place of Birth: Hudson City, New Jersey Origin: Meta-Human Powers and Abilities: Sonic Scream, Emitting a powerful sonic boom from the vocal chords. Back Story: Grace had always known she was different. Back when they told her she was a boy and called her Seth; every day was a walking purgatory, not always horrifying but always not quite right. She was written off as being "kind of effeminate" and her parents answer was to send her to a religious boys school where she was told she would grow out of it by the kindly, if misinformed, nuns. But she didn't. She heard stories from her parents, seemingly trying to encourage her to change, of children who weren't as protected behind the school's gates as she was who were bullied for being "different". It turns out however: it wasn't a phase. Soon she told herself she was a gay man, because this seemed to fit what she was feeling and her parents were clearly upset but they hid it as best they could and she decided she could make this work, it was when looking at colleges she really got a grip of what being transgender meant. Meeting trans people and living in a world so different from the cloaks of her whitewashed upbringing opened her eyes like a kaleidoscope of color. She soon began the process of seeking gender reassignment surgery. Her parents never pretended to understand but they did continue to pay her way through college and make sure to keep communication alive, if a bit quiet. They still called her Seth though but now she called herself a new name Grace (her grandmother's name) Augustine (The name of a nun she had particularly bonded with). Their financial generosity didn't extend to her surgery however so she found other ways to fund that. She threw herself into the performing arts; burlesque, comedy and singing. She used the profit from these shows to further her goal and soon she was undergoing the first of a few surgeries. As her body changed she soon thought other therapies; hormone therapy yes but also subtler craft like vocal coaching to train her voice to be more naturally female. It was during these intense lessons that her meta-human powers emerged. She found that she could no longer sing as well as when she had her "boy voice" but instead she could achieve a sound that could produce superhuman effects. Using her "sonic scream" she was able to look after the vulnerable students at her college from those who would hurt them just for being different just as Sister Mary Augustine had looked after her. She created a makeshift superhero costume from her burlesque outfits and other costumes and called herself Amazing Grace (how sweet the sound) because hearing enemies, media and friends alike call her by that name was almost as sweet as if her own mother would deign to do so. Played By/Looks Like: Tamzin Merchant

Alright, I designed for the Marvel side, now let's go DC using the power of... wait for it
Codename: Rapport
Real Name: Tommy Keaton
Date of Birth: 02/14/1995
Place of Birth: Germany, exact location unknown as parents never stayed in the same location for more than a week.
Origin: Mutant
Powers: Empathy, able to control and manipulate the emotions of anyone he physically touches. Once he physically makes contact, he can make anyone do anything he orders, ranging from making him a sandwich to taking their own life.
Backstory: Tommy was born to con artist parents, who roamed the country to find new people to take advantage of and fleece. When Tommy developed his powers at a young age and his parents realized what he could do, they took advantage of the boy to con more people out of their fortunes. Tommy realized that he himself was being taken advantage of as he was now nothing more than a tool for his already emotionally abusive parents, conning the child into believing that no one would ever love him because he'd never know whose feelings were genuine due to his powers.
Tommy forced himself to close off all emotions over time until he was just an emotionless youth doing what his parents ordered. One night, the family's luck turned tragic when their scheme was discovered and Tommy's parents were lynched in the town square. 14-year-old Tommy ran off into the night, not feeling any other emotion beyond a slight wave of happiness over now having his freedom. Not having anywhere to go, and still devoid of emotion, Tommy started using his powers to con lonely older women who were near death, manipulating their emotions into leaving him their vast fortunes in their will, marrying them and staying with them until they passed, mainly out of his own loneliness.
This continued for six years until he met a charming young man named Barrett while stranded at an airport during a blizzard, where the two learned about each other while waiting for the storm to pass. During the next week, Tommy felt something he'd never felt before: actual love for someone. After years of having shut off his emotions, he was finally starting to feel something other than sadness and loneliness. He had to know how Barrett felt about him (having never even so much as shaken Barrett's hand), but the storm lifted and Barrett took the first flight out to Switzerland.
Tommy realized he had to find him and spent the next year and thousands of dollars to find Barrett, finally finding him at his family's villa. As soon the two locked eyes, Barrett admitted he did feel genuine love for Tommy, he was just afraid to admit his feelings, but now that Tommy had found him they could be together and the two prepared for their first kiss.
Then the villa exploded, killing everyone inside except Tommy, who took months to recover. Tommy vowed to track down the party responsible, soon finding that a powerful gang named the Sons of Silence had killed Barrett's family due to the mob ties of Barrett's father, who had desperately been trying to leave the mob ever since his son had been born years earlier. Tommy once again had to push his emotions deep down, and began using his powers on Empathy to destroy the Sons of Silence by compelling them to commit suicide, kill each other or turn themselves in. But over three years of tearing through the SoS, he still hadn't found the man responsible for giving the order to kill the love of his life. But Tommy refuses to give up the search and will stop at nothing until he's felt his vengeance is complete.
Looks Like: Bill Skarsgard

Amazing Grace and Rapport both sound awesome. Amazing Grace is incredibly unique given that she's transgender and its not often an avenue we see in comics, particularly superheroes (Alysia Yeoh is a supporting cast member and doesn't count). One thing I have to say about Rapport, as much fun as he seems to be, is that you know Luxembourg isn't in Germany? It's a separate European country.

Thank you. Ever since I watched the movie Transamerica with Felicity Huffman, where they showed the vocal process many transfolks go through, I've had this germ in my head of someone developing sonic powers accidentally when they went through the same training. So when Sonic Scream came up as the power of choice I ran with it.
