Travis is becoming one of my favorite writers, and I’m so glad the anthology title has had such a strong string of hits. I’m not familiar with the blue blade, but he was well written here and I’d like to see more of his dashing exploits

Thanks. Always nice to hear that other people are enjoying my goofy scribblings. Especially glad when odd ideas, like my GA one shot, appeal to other people. It was fun to try a different format, as well as letting me play with goofy, obscure characters.
Big fan of the anthologies as well. They are a nice place to try out ideas and do little projects that help keep me sane when juggling an ongoing gets stressful.

Review time!
Black Panther #7: One of the most enjoyable aspects of Jake Hawkins work on this title is the weaving of various plotlines. This issue is very focused on that and it is one of my favorites so far. Hawkins has done a great job of establishing the characters in Wakanda and how they relate and react to T'Challa and his decisions. This issue does a fair amount of set-up for what is to come, but never misses out on the fun. I particularly enjoyed getting to see Bullseye's attack on the wedding. Great action, compelling characters and an intriguing plot, what more could you want?
New Warriors #35: While technically still part of the "Quest for Franklin Richards" arc, this issue felt more like what I've come to expect from the series. We get to see a bit of just about everyone in this issue and while the focus is on the Guthrie family drama, it is nice to see the series go back to an ensemble feel. I appreciate that Tobias doesn't have Josiah actually turn on his father and instead keeps the drama rooted in the emotions of both father and son. The reconciliation scene with Cannonball and Josiah is touching and the issue's highlight. We're heading towards a conclusion to this arc and I'm very interested in where New Warriors goes next.
Max 2000 #48: I thoroughly enjoyed John Cheese's initial foray into a Guillotine solo story. So, you can imagine my joy at getting another installment here. Cheese dives even further into the dichotomy that drives the relationship between Jeannie and the Fleur de Mal and it is just as fun the second time around. I enjoyed the villains being fascists, all too relevant sadly, and their plan seemed scarily realistic, minus some supernatural tinges. Another fun solo story, here's hoping the next installment comes to us soon!

The terror attack was indeed meant to be realistic to really show off the dicotamy of man which is mirrored by the very struggle of Guillotine herself. Also expect more Jeannie in the upcoming deluge
