I've been away from M2K/DC2K for a few years now, so I'm veerrry slowly catching up on things that have caught my eye. Ghost Rider is my favorite character in all of comics, I host a podcast about the guy, so that series was one I naturally gravitated toward first. I'm very particular about my GR stories and it takes a lot to impress me, I'm a Spirit of Vengeance snob I suppose, so I always go into GR fanfic with a wary eye. I've only read the first issue of Travis Hiltz's Ghost Rider series, but that was all it took to make me realize the most important thing about anyone who writes the Riders: he gets it. He gets the dynamic between Blaze, Reyes, and Ketch (and Hamilton Slade, awesome!), he gets how their personalities differ and clash with one another, and get does all that while also telling a really engaging story. I'm definitely going to continue reading the series, even though it may take me a while, but I'm fairly confident that Travis has something with that series. Great job, man!

Well, thank you for the glowing praise. And the added pressure, now that I know somebody is reading my stuff. Nobody warned me that might happen!
Nice to hear there are GR fans that like what I'm doing. I have always been a lukewarm GR fan. Liked Johnny Blaze, never read much of the 90's stuff until very recently and really enjoyed Reyes short-lived series. I liked the idea of writing them as a loose-knit team, as it let me write pretty much any kind of story I'd like.
I also like the mix of personalities: Dan and Johnny's weird brother bond, Reyes being as powerful as the others, but being such a novice and Slades' older, wiser vibe. I can be dark and gritty, I can write a western, I can go goofy and silver age.
Look forward to what you think after you read some more. Hopefully, you still like what you read.
