So here we are again, another set of reviews ready to go and spread pleasure/misery (delete as appropriate) across the community. While I do enjoy giving feedback it can feel a little disheartening being missed out, so feel free to fire back a response and lighten up my (maybe) miserable day. Without further ado lets see if these stories are showers or happy rays of sunshine...
Beware Spoilers and...freak flash floods.
Force Works #50 - Force Works is a special title (to me) as it very much shaped my first piece of work here, particularly one burnt out character. This episode felt very much like a battle royale, with conflict bringing in new challengers and surprises from both sides. That said it did, very much feel like the end of the series. Perhaps Dan Ingram will surprise us, but one things for sure force works and it gave us some lasting memories. Thanks Dan.
Ghost Rider #9 - Malestrom battles they Ghost Riders and we get to see their strengths compared to each other. While combat can feel a little bland in these ‘vehicular battles’ the narrative and characterisation that Travis brings to the title is definitely a boon to his works. The freeing of the Salem Seven was a big surprise and I strongly suspect we will see more of these as the title continues.
New Warriors #38 - An issue focused on the new characters of the tiara, yes please Tobias. While Ms Marvel and Spider Woman (girl?) were the main focus of this tale, it was learning more about the Rawhide Kid that excited me. Tobias has managed to paint a picture of his world with only a few words, something some writers can’t do with pages of script. Definitely a favourite title of mine and one to watch.
Project Hades #11 - I’ve never hidden my excitement for this title in reviews, and this issues dip into Hurricane’s back story was definitely my favourite moment of this release. As expected Hurricane’s fast is very stormy indeed, and more Machiavellian then expected. As the climb up the mountain’s food chain continues it will be intresting to see which top predator is left standing at the summit. A most recommended read indeed!

Thanks for the review! The next arc is going to focus on the Rawhide Kid, where he came from, and most importantly, what his real name is. And he is a canon Marvel character, and a relatively well known one at that. In fact, there were plans for a cross-over with the title he originated from here before life got in his way.
