And we're back in the swing of things. After a day of working in the snow, I get to come back and read two issues by Dan Ingram and another issue by Emma Woods. With naught but much else to say let's jump on into this months releases.
Arisia #3 - So Arisia clashes with one of the Red Lantern Corps, and a high ranking member to boot. While Batgirl and Girl of Steel are long established titles, Arisia is still young and feels like its building up the cosmic side of DC2000. While it is compelling to concentrate on the action part of the story, it feels as if its masking the more potent acts covered here, ones I'm sure will have ramifications later on in the title.
Force Works #51 - Force Works is back and we have an immediate terrible effects as the team crosses swords with Reverend Days, the lesser of 'three evils' that are apposing the young heroes. With a taste of what happens, with the team either captured, separated or on the run things don't look good for Force Works. Hopefully Dan won't keep us waiting to long for another instalment.
Project Hades #12 - Ah Project Hades, the only title which is more blood thirsty than what I write, and one of my favourite Marvel 2000 titles. With Warcry's past revealed in the typical bloody fashion, we get to see some more memorable villians, in this case the 'Dog's of War'. We also get a little more information about Thrill Blade, and his morose past as we speed towards the last issue. Hopefully it will arrive soon and give this series the send off it deserves, with as much blood shed as we have come to expect from this title.
