Easy week! One issue from Emma Woods to review so let's jump in and see what the last issue of Arisa's first arc brings us!
Beware Spoilers and...that free all-expenses-paid trip to Space Moria you were promised
Arisa #5 - There is a pain when children (or anyone really) are ready to leave home for the last time. Emma not only delivers a powerful punch in the emotions in the first few paragraphs but also stokes the fear that we may lose something. The interaction between Arisa and her power ring was particularly interesting as well, and it clearly shows that despite her titanic will power the main character is not truly one with her tools. All in all a fitting and well-written finale for a first arc that has answered plenty of questions but has spawned many more, and brought a new sector of characters into the DC2000 Universe. Hands down the best issue of the release (take that me) and definitely a title that I want to see expanded and explored further.
Meanwhile in the Slab...Fatality stirs, her time will soon come...
Or maybe I'm just making her out to be the boogeyman of the Lantern Corps.

As always, thanking you for the kind words Mr. Cheese, I'm super glad that you're digging the series XD Originally, I was only planning to do a mini series of sorts after having Arisia appear as a supporting character in Girl of Steel, but turns out I've got a few more stories for her yet, so keep your eyes peeled XD
