Oh, good evening, I didn't see you there, I am the Reviewer, and may I entertain you with three terrifying tales. I can’t, well how about I can drop three reviews for the Marvel 2000 titles in the latest release. What about the DC 200 releases I hear you cry!! Well, rest assured that they will be reviewed either on Friday or over the weekend.
Now without further ado, let’s crack in, beware Spoilers and………creepy serial killers. You know who you are!
It’s All About Candy (M2K Halloween): - Dave Golightly brings an adult fear to his entry by putting children into danger into his narrative. In this case, we get parodies of the Avengers just minding their own business on Yancy Street, on a cold Halloween Eve. Not only does Dave capture how scary an actual battle with a supervillain, a creepy one no less, is for a normal person, he does a great job at making every character useful in the battle, going as far as helping Spiderman (the real one) capture his foe.
White Noise (M2K Halloween): - Emma Woods ties in with the (one of) title she is currently writing. While the story was short, it perfectly encapsulates how brutal and cold U.S.Agent is outside of battle, and how vicious he can be when fighting. It will be interesting to see how, or if, the events within White Noise will come up in the main U.S.Agent title. I do wonder what the cause of the combatant’s madness was, and if it is anything we have already seen before.
Web of Spiderman #1: - Web of Spiderman #1 is another first issue written by Emma Woods featuring often forgotten vigilante Ricochet. Emma expertly ties in elements of both the mythologies of Spiderman, I particularly like the reference to delivering pizzas, and the Loners (at least I believe that’s what they were called) into the story. The reveal of the Doppelganger at the end of the issue was also a reveal I wasn’t expecting. Hopefully we will see Ricochet bounce into a new episode soon, and see what terrible events are beginning to unfold.

Apologies for the late review of the two DC titles within the Halloween release. I could procrastinate even further but instead, let's crack into the reviews. Also, beware of spoilers...and working throughout the weekend to get that last report out.
Hellblazer - The Tomb - Chris Munn drops us another Constantine Halloween tale. It's often easy to write a scary story with a supernatural element, but unusually (especially for a supernatural title) this issue is a very human story, with a(n albeit inhuman) villain with very human motives. Not only were the visuals were well written and the story, but while short also marched around at a steady speed. I do wonder where this fits within the current run of the title within DC 2000 and if so what effects it will have on the upcoming issues.
Trick or Treating with Bizarro - Travis Hiltz nails Bizzaro's character to an amazing degree in this fish out of water story. While we had some conflict with the long-forgotten Superman foe Black Rock's appearance as a ghost, the majority of this story centers around the character's reaction with other people. Travis manages to avoid the trap to make Bizarro a complete idiot, and while this Bizarro is a little moronic, it is showcased that he is indeed a thinking being. Additionally, Travis also brings us a little look at how things happen in Bizarro World on Halloween and in general life. All in all the best of the Halloween titles submitted, and my favorite of the bunch.
And now one final note, I would implore everyone to read these titles and drop their own reviews into the forum. A belated Happy Halloween, All Saints Day, Dios de le Muerte and Guy Fawkes Day to you all.

I'm sorry that I couldn't get a Halloween story in again this year. But I'll write a Christmas story this year to make up for my mistake.
