I'd like to apologize for the late reviews, between losing a whole load of files and having multiple crashes it's taken longer than I wanted to, to get to these reviews. So with no further excuses or procrastination let's get on with the reviews.
Beware Spoilers...
All-Star Comics #14 - Jake Hawkins drags us back into the Dakotaverse with the DC2000 introductions of two major villains. Loyalties within the tale seem to be about to be tested and overall the story has a feel on an ongoing mystery about it. I also noticed a reference to a possible third major villain in the first section of the story. We don't get to see the Dakota Verse characters much, but what we are getting from Jake is not entertaining but very well written. Hopefully, we will see a lot more from the Dakotaverse very soon.
Arisa #6 - Emma Woods brings in a blood-curdling issue as Atrocitus comes to DC 2000 on the back of an ominously named 'Campaign of Blood'. But he isn't the main star of this title, that would be how coherent and realistic the mother-daughter bond between Aerilaya and Arisa is as Emma gives us a masterclass on how to write relationships. The conversation in the second half of the tale was tugging my heartstrings, as we see a relationship somewhat restored between the two. I know we will see more of Atrocitus and his bloody onslaught, but hopefully, we also get the heartwarming moments in this title as well.
Impulse #20 - So we come to Tobias Christopher's "THE QUEST TO DO COOL $#!%" with a crossover between Impulse and the Man of Steel crew. Tobias writes Impulse just like his namesakes, with Bart dragging more victims into the lair of the Spreed Force Vampire lurking somewhere in the DC2000 world. This issue was very much a setup for what appears to be some kind of Young Justice/Teen Titans/Insert any other young hero team, team-up event that looks to be coming in on the horizon. Hopefully, Tobias will continue the set p and well see some amazing action in the upcoming issue of Action Comics.

Thanks for the review. Yep, a YJ reunion is forthcoming with a little Sideways thrown in as the old school YJ crew seeks to restore Connor's power. And we might see another familiar face show up as well to complete the new young trifecta, marking Damien's first meeting with Jon and Jase at DC2K.
