woo good movie..
anyways, I just wanted to know what gangs you guys have made over the years at m2k...and if I could use them in Spidey...
I know Red Dogs are there, but after a quick Pico search, found they were in Baltimore...I guess I can still use them...
Anyways, what else you guys got?

Nah, that was the funny thing about the Red Dogs. After their initial appearances, they became so popular that Russ used them in Scarlet Spider. So they're in both New York and Baltimore!

So Russ is responsible for expanding a gang's influence throughout the East Coast? I knew it. He's planning to take over.

Uh... there were the Junkyard Dogs... and I think Patrick Moore created the Purple Dragons (hah!). Maybe The Foot Clan from Dino's old TMNT run on the site? They're not traditional gangs, but y'know, they work as comic book gangs I guess...

Gregg Epstein established a New York gang based off the Red Skull in his Captain America run, but I can't remember exactly what they were called.

... and I think Patrick Moore created the Purple Dragons (hah!). And then he promptly announced he would be writing a new title starring them at M2K without even propping it with the editors first.

He started doing that again when I took over with Brent, but I immediately shut him down, telling him that sort of behavior was not appreciated, nor would it be tolerated, and that he was confusing people that way. I think he got a little pissed, 'cuz I haven't heard from him since.

Well, wouldn't there be the traditional ethnic gangs in NYC like the Jamaicans, Colombians, Puerto Ricans, Yakuza, Triads etc.? Why not use some of them?

I had two gangs. The Red Skull Gang in Cap and the Thunder Gods Gang.
That's all.

There was a gang the New Warriors had run across several times called the Poison Memories. Originally they were only Night Thrasher's villains, but their leader stole Namorita's address book and among their attacks on the New Warriors' families murdered Rage's grandmother.
