What's the state of the Morlocks in general at M2K? Has anything been done with them? If not, what was their situation at the cut-off? Sorry, I'm probably least in touch when it comes to X-continuity so I'll probably have a lotta questions coming.

Last I heard the Morlocks were massacred, twice. Mikhail transported the survivors to another world called The Hill, where nobody could die and time went by at a different pace. Those who reached the top of the Hill became Gene Nation. When Mikhail was defeated and the survivors returned to Earth, many of them settled at a mutant community in Africa I believe.

Thank you Steve. Assuming the tunnels are still there, this'll work okay.

I featured Marrow in Iceman, yeah. Ever's currently being featured in Fallen Angels, but no other Morlocks/Gene Nation members have been heavily featured at M2K except for in one instance. The surviving Morlocks and Gene Nation members were intended to be killed off panel in Dino Pollard's X-Men Omega solo run, but since so many people have expressed interest in them I've sort of allowed anybody to take some liberties with those 40+ off panel deaths, including the Morlocks. Last I knew, Mike Franz was working on a Gene Nation/Morlocks series to prop to M2K, so it's safe to say the Morlocks were "attacked and seriously maimed, but likely survived."
