Ben asked me to look over the first couple pages of his upcoming Sabertooth miniseries last night...and I have to say I'm very impressed. He's captured the tone very well, keeping it similar to how Kristi is portraying Wolverine right now, yet staying distinctly different. He even recaps Sabertooth's brief M2K history with a few sentences (which I think is better than weighing the reader down).
This is really going to be something to look forward to.

I've spoken with Ben a little about SABRETOOTH and I'm looking forward to it. He's got a good handle on the character and he's made a great effort to research Creed's M2K backstory.

Sabretooth's history is as follows: Victor Creed was born, he killed lots of people, came across and pissed off various characters, killed lots of people, killed Morlocks, killed more people, Xavier tried to help him, X-Men got seriously injured and, finally, Sabretooth killed a lot more people.

Yeah, that's half the reason I did Great Chase and am doing Hades Project, because almost all the villains with combat cred are sociopaths, who'll do anything.

Wild that I mentioned a Sabertooth story in the other thread and five minutes later tihere's this announcement.
If only my precognitive powers worked on lottery numbers, instead of fan fiction titles...!
