Hey guys,
Just wanted to give you a quick on what's going on behind the scenes. I have the rough draft of my thesis due three weeks from today, and it's sapping a lot of my writing motivation getting this SOB done. Regardless, my brain is working double time on Marvel Fantasy ideas, and the hiatus will probably be over some time in the next two or three release periods. Sabretooth #2 will be coming out first with Marvel Fantasy #7 starting its run in 2007 shortly there after. So, what can you expect?
*Marvel Fantasized versions Spider-Man and some of his rogues gallery, Iron Man, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm
*More appearances by Doom, the Punisher, Luke Cage, Danny Rand and the increasingly ominous Emissary.
*Our first real female protagonist (because this thing is turning into a sausage fest).
*A history lesson revealing the background of the Sinister Six, the crystals, and the scriptures uncovered in Latveria.
Got anyone you'd like to see show up, or see more of?

Just gotta say: Spider-Man villians are just begging to be Fantasized. They've got that perfect blend of man/machine going.

Tarantula, Vulture, Doc Ock, Chamelon, Hobgoblin...Mark's right, these guys NEED to be in Marvel Fantasy.
Also, the most badass Spidey villain of all time had better make an appearance: KRAVEN THE HUNTER!

I thought, although it was only a small role, that the Owl played a fun role in Marvel Fantasy for the exact reason that Mark and Dave think Spidey villains will really work well in this series. His rogue's gallery is so tightly connected to the animal, insect, and mystical kingdoms that if you were to give them a Fantasy twist (like the Owl) I think that they would really fit in and compliment their surroundings quite well.
Whether they're "monsters" or "evil beings" or archetypes of some sort running rampant in the forest or "scenario bosses" serving some higher malevolent force, you could really make them some twisted and creepy versions of their mainstream selves. There's a lot of fun to be had there!
Oh, and I'm glad to hear that another female protagonist (or hell, even just a main female character in general) is being introduced. I really liked your incarnation of Dagger and the presence she had in this book (however short). She definitely helped thin out the wienerfest.
