[glow=red,2,300]Would there be any interest in seeing a revived Mutant X title (maybe not with Havok as the star) or something akin to it? [/glow]

As one of the few fans of Mutant X, I can't say I see a point in the title if Havok wasn't in it.
Part of the premise was that Havok was the only thing about the "mutant x-verse" that the readers knew, both we and he experienced the changes in that world at the same time.
Without that, it would simply be another alternate universe story.
That being said I wouldn't mind a mini with Bloodstorm, who seemed like the most interesting of that altered world.

I agree. Havok didn't necessarily make the Mutant X title, but without him it would just be another random Alt. Universe.

Okay, so maybe somebody else would get trapped in the Mutant X-verse.

Okay, so maybe somebody else would get trapped in the Mutant X-verse. Yea exactly. That's kinda what I meant. Hence the "akin to it" part of my question.

Personally, I think a new Exiles title with the concept of Marvel's Exiles would be a much better idea. Although not just X-characters but the entire Marvel Universe.

I loved the Exiles concept but thought the X-character presence too overwhelming for my tastes (with some exceptions, like I never minded Mimic's presence). How about a team led by Lionheart and Captain Dash?

Like have Howard Stark in some steampunk type Iron Man armor or a eight-armed monster Peter Parker. That could interesting.

Heh, maybe Polaris could take Havok's place? Y'know, might be ironic... I'm not sure if an Exiles title would fly at the moment. We have an Avengers Immortal title, after all, but if anyone was able to prop one and it kicked major ass I'm sure we wouldn't turn it down.

That's definately something to ponder right there.

I think one of the best things about Mutant X was the focus on the X-side of things, while throwing in the rest of the Marvel U for simple "details".
Kind of like how Captain America was introduced as the last member of the Six. Or how Reed Richards was the evil President of the USA.
If Mutant X was revived, I can't imagine it being unlike what Chris Munn is doing in Avengers: Immortal, only with the X-Men, and the angst/racism driven plots that they carry with them.
That's not to say I wouldn't like it...I mean, Mutant X was really all I could stand by Mackie in his hayday...

But anyone who knows me knows I could whip up an alternate reality in like two seconds lol. I'm just a huge, gushing fan of those. I really like to think that my early Mutant X stuff here at M2K was good. I just kinda lost my way though and started throwing in too much stuff in later issues. But live and learn...
