I thought there was a black version of the Hulk. Like a nightmare version or something.

I thought there was a black version of the Hulk. Like a nightmare version or something. Unfortunately, I think the closest thing to a black Hulk is Gideon Wilson, Jim Wilson's father, who blamed Hulk's for his son's death (had AIDS, Hulk wouldn't donate blood, a moving but weird story). He became sort of a reverse Doc Samson, in that he lost strength if he grew hair.

Jim Wilson's Dad became an evil Doc Samson...?
This is the kind of thing that makes me realize why I spend most of my comic budget on Essential Volumes.

Good lord, No! That's horrible.
I was thinking of someone...I don't know, less inclined to kill his teammates.
The search continues...!

My dream team: Captain America (Rogers) Photon (Rambeau) Nova (Rider) Victor Mancha Amadeus Cho Scarlet Witch Wasp (especially with Giant-Girl options)
A good mix of diversity, some of my fan favorites (sadly, Mr. Immortal didn't make the cut) that I want to see grow to become great heroes, and some old guard to bring them on.
And for BEST team:
The All-Americans. Captain America (Steve) Captain America (Bucky) Captain America (Sam) U.S. Agent America Chavez Free Spirit Jack Flagg Major Victory.

After seeing the Ant-man movie:
Ant-man( Scot Lang) Yellowjacket ( is that Rita girl still around and wearing the costume? I'd want to use her.) Giant man (Bill Foster) Cassie Lang ( as either Stature, Stinger or maybe the new Wasp)
Hank Pym as a kind of mentor/Oracle type.

If I recall, the female Yellowjackets went into the future and joined those Guardians of the Galaxy. She returned to the present and was immediately killed by Iron Man at the beginning of The Crossing event. So in one since she's dead, but a version from earlier in her timeline could appear. Or she could be truly alive and say she's sent a chronal duplicate to that era to see if it was safe. It wasn't so she waited a bit.
Unless I missed it, a mention of Bill Foster in the movie would have been nice.

No mention of Bill Foster, but they've got to save something for Ant-man 2.

I was thinking Rage might make a good Hulk replacement in my all black Avengers idea.
Now, I just need to figure out a black equivalent for Loki and I may have a' What if..?' pitch.

Well, the Justice League once battled Anansi, whom Vixen referred to as the "West African trickster god." There's also a trickster in Central and Southern African folklore known as Br'er Rabbit that has been used in some Disney properties.

I'm also a fan of some rookie with potential thrown onto a team of heavy hitters. Like Conner Hawke in Morrison's JLA. Gravity has a lot of potential and I feel like he could still bring a lot to the table.

The Avengers have a good history with rookies, dating all the way back to Captain America and his Kooky Quartet. Later on they had the new versions of Black Knight and Captain Marvel, Vision and Wonder Man, Hellcat, Rage, Iron Man (Teen Tony kind of counts), Triathlon, and of course Bendis brought in the greenest super-heroes of all, Wolverine and Spider-Man. More recently I've really liked that new Smasher.
Btw, Gravity fought alongside the Avengers in the latest M2K story, and he may just appear again.
