So, to match the movie line up, Marvel's new Thunderbolts series looks to be a bunch of guys with guns and two Captain America clones/rip offs.
Which seems like with that many street level heroes they'll probably go very grounded,: lots of terrorists and politics.
I was thinking, it'd be way more fun if they went the other way: lots of monsters, super villains and aliens. Black Widow and Winter Soldier vs terrorists...that's Tuesday.
The same guys vs a dinosaur or the Mad Thinkers android...they're gonna have to break a sweat.

After reading Tobias' New Warriors run here, it's giving me something to see what the New Warriors could tackle in the future if anyone takes over the title:
Do something more with other teen heroes in the Marvel U. Bring back other members of the New Warriors from past rosters to be mentors to the current roster.
I do want to do something with Alpha than making him the team idiot slacker. I know Dan Slott wanted him to be a joke, but Tobias did something to the character that made me make him into a better hero than a joke.
I can see a major roster change with a reserve member team as a back up that could work.
mix in horror, comedy, drama, real teen issues, and time travel.

An online auction site I frequent has a ton of Marvel hardcovers, including a bunch that collect a bunch of the c-list, short lived supernatural characters and one for all the kung-fu heroes.
Either would be a brilliant idea for a team.
Not sure I'll be able to afford the books, but the ideas are going on my writing wish list.

With the recent passing of Paul Rubens/Pee-Wee Herman, I've been thinking of writing a possible Batmite title down the line. Given that Batmite is a fanboy with powers, I could see him and Mxy go on a wacky adventure together.

We are going to have to reopen the alternate imprint, as my brain keeps giving me ideas which seem to only work in the MCU. Wish it would quite doing that. I'm behind enough as it is.

I do want to try a Batman/Archie crossover, but unlike the recent Batman '66 crossover it would be more like Batman: TAS since Archie is more of a cartoon. Given that Archie had has some wired crossovers with the likes of Batman, TMNT, Predator, Sharknado, The Punisher, and the Simpsons. I could even see the Teen Titans meeting the teens of Riverdale, as I can see the original four Titans meeting Archie in some weird and twisted way.
Problem is if this counts without breaking M2K/DC2K's rules of non-Mavel and DC characters crossing over like back in the day, but this is for the Alternate imprints.

Yes, reading a bunch of old Valiant comics reminds me how much I'd love to write them.
Always loved the original Gold Key heroes and would write anyone of them in a heartbeat.
The newer guys are all full of potential, but have the feel of 'it's the 90's don't worry too much about characterization, just make them cool!'. Love the immortal brothers and think it would be fun to write one of Valiant's many government sponsored armored teams.

My mind has been very marvel focused of late and I keep thinking I need to play with some ideas.
Always wondered what Power Company would be like if DC had told Kurt Busiek to use more established characters and less new creations. Manhunter is an easy fix, but the rest have been tricky.
I have several ideas for a DC heroes for fire team, not sure which one to go with...

I've been popping my brain with writing my titles for Every-Verse with Power Rangers and TMNT as the top main titles to work on. As I plan to revive my titles that I wrote for the original EV site, one of the few titles I plan to helm was a Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl limited series that would have been set after the Kick-Ass 3 comic series. As it would have Hit-Girl recruiting a new Kick-Ass to take on a female kingpin and her stepdaughter. It would be more graphic and more F-bombs that make Batman and Robin a good movie.
