The only thing right with Civil War was how great the art looked.

Steve McNiven is superb. One of the best artists around.

Here's a What If story for you.....

Here's a What If story for you..... While that is intriguing as hell, in my heart I don't think Pocky would be drawn to the Gauntlet or want to use it. He's a darwinist and that is just too easy. The struggle is part of that whole strongest survive thing. But that's just my take.

It might work if he turned most of the most powerful heroes and villains into his soldiers. How many times have the Avengers fought Apocalypse than the X-Men? I like to see The Avengers take on one of the X-Men's greatest foes without the help of the X-Men themselves.

Avengers vs Apocalypse is a cool idea, but not a fan of making the gauntlet something easy to get a hold of.

And worth a note: Apocalypse was the Avengers main enemy... in the Mangaverse lol still worked pretty well

I agree that the Gauntlet wouldn’t be Apocalypse’s style. As said, he’s a Darwinist which is precisely why he’s also normally paired with the X-Men. They’re all evolutionary jumps whereas other heroes tend to be created through other means and exposures. Not that it wouldn’t be cool to see the Avengers take him on just that, from a Darwinist perspective, he wouldn’t consider them worthy or a threat because they didn’t evolve through natural selection, they were forced to evolve by various situations.

If The Avengers can take on The High Evolutionary then Apocalypse would be a bigger threat for them with his Horsemen.

I like that everyone's response is:
'Infinity Guantlet...nah!"
"Apocalypse vs Avengers...when do we get that story!"
Cosmic reality warping objects are dime a dozen, but a hero/villain fight that we haven't seen before is worth its weight in gold.

What if...after his fight with the Hulk, Wolverine chases down the jade giant, determined to take him down and ends up being summoned, along with the Hulk, by Dr.Strange and joins the Defenders instead of the X-men.

What if...Wolverine was blasted with Gamma Rays instead of Bruce Banner and became something far more worse than becoming The Hulk?

I'm finding that lately, all my what if ideas seem to be just taking a marvel event and putting it in a different historical era.
Avengers forming during WW2 Victorian Defenders
Man, just having Galactus show up in a different era opens up so many ideas it could be a series all on its own.
