"What If AVX never happened?"
"What If The Avengers and other heroes finally found out about The Superior Spider-Man and did something about it?"
"What If The Dark X-Men were part of Siege?"

"What if the heroes lost after the Onslaught saga never returned?" "What if the Scarlet Witch turned the Vision into a real boy?" "What if Operation Zero Tolerance was still in operation right now?" "What if Daredevil was still possessed by a demon and still ruled over Shadowland?"

The answer to the first one is Baron Zemo becomes ruler of the entire planet, at least for a little while...

Never mind 'no more mutants' "What if there never were any mutants?"

Never mind 'no more mutants' "What if there never were any mutants?" Marvel without Wolverine...? Then who would marvel overuse until we were sick of them? And what about poor Hugh Jackman...! Though it would be interesting to see what happened to characters that become heroes or villains because they were mutants. So many of them would just stay normal and live normal lives. Magneto might still go on to become a nazi hunter, I could see Bobby, Warren and Hank becoming some kind of challengers of the unknown/Hardy boys kind of team and maybe the whole Summers family would end up in space... on the surface it seems a kind of 'meh' idea, but you could create an interesting little universe.

Well it could be argued Captain America may have died in WW2 if Wolverine wasn't there, that alone would create SEVERAL ripple effects.
Wolverine being gone throughout Marvel history alone would pretty drastically change things.
Then there's the question of whether we're considering Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver mutants (I will ALWAYS think of them that way first)
Then there's Namor...

I hadn't even thought about Namor, Quicksilver or the Scarlet Witch.
That ripples into FF history, Avengers history and if we include Toro on that list the WW2 Invaders has a very different line-up.
It really is an idea that you think 'That's a one shot' and the more you look at, the more it becomes a universe all it's own.

An interesting idea, but it's really a story of omission. It would be like proving a negative.

The main ripple effect for the F4 would probably be A) half the people who ever joined the team in one the main character's absence would no longer be there and B) Franklin would be a normal kid with no powers, and probably be aging normally alongside the other kids of the Marvel U. And without powers, Franklin wouldn't have been able to save Valeria to be born later.
No mutants - No Sentinels. That takes Juston Seyfert out of the equation.

What If Wolverine had remained as Len Wein intended? Until Claremont/Cockrum, Wolverine was intended to be much younger, and the claws were attached to his gloves. Keeping those elements, how would you see Wolverine among the X-Men?

Keeping those elements, how would you see Wolverine among the X-Men? Adding to that what if he remained an angry, somewhat homely near-midget of a man instead steadily becoming more classically attractive/tall as time goes on and developing a more well rounded team-player/leader type personality.

"What if the Squadron Supreme had successfully defeated the Avengers?" If that had happened then they may have begun using their behavior modification tech on the Avengers and everyone on 616. I could see Doom being the main leader of the resistance as he has employed similar tech in the past and may be immune to it.

Marvel is going to revive certain titles back to their original numbering. As for my What If....What If Frank Castle joined The Avengers?

I'd be more interested in seeing them then taking on the mantle of 'Earth's tightest heroes' and stepping up to protect the world without the behavior modification stuff and dark politics. What reserve Avengers would decide to help them and who would oppose. Not to mention seeing a version of the JLA fighting marvel bad guys appeals greatly.
