I was looking through the Alternate Branch and noticed that the issues of Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Spider Man issues are not there.
Have they been removed from the site or have they just not been put up yet?

They're free and open at the moment.

What I was asking is where are the issues that were once there? What happened to all of Dinos and Micks issues? Or the Sipder Man issues that were once there as well?

They're not up on the server right now, but they're still on the Wayback. If someone were to propose the title and was absolutely intent on following up where they left off then we'd be more then happy to put them back up.

You know, I've got a half finished Ultimate Spider-Man #1 from another site. Maybe I'll polish it off later on down the road for the site.

Since my issues are now hosted at MO, it'd probably be far more beneficial to just start M2K's Ultimate X-Men book from scratch. My issues remaining here only seem to cause headaches for writers who took over the book following my run, and it's not like they have any impact on continuity.

Ingram is the one to talk to about all of this. He's the official Alternate Branch editor. Cory recently posted his e-mail and AIM screen name, so now everyone can pester him! Bombard him with questions! Make him earn his non-paycheck!

Yea I gotta agree with Dino on this one. I personally think starting all of M2K's Ultimate branch from scratch would be best. That makes things a bit more appealing I think.

Shouldn't Ultimate be a seperate branch away from the rest of the Alternate stuff. While it is an Alternate reality, aren't all of the Ultimate titles sticking to the same universe. I think if anyone props an Ultimate title and its accepted, I think a seperate Ultimate section should be divided from the other titles.

All of the Ultimate titles (if there were more than one) would indeed share a universe together, but I think they should still stick to the Alt Branch. The fact that "Ultimate" would be in front of each title would imply the shared continuity. Plus, what may only amount to two or three books doesn't really warrent its own branch.

Oh, I didn't mean its own branch, I meant maybe its own table in the Alternate Branch, seperate from the others titles.

That's probably something to worry about if the site ends up with three or four Ultimate titles. Since there's not even one at the moment, I don't think it's a concern.

I wouldn't rely on the Wayback machine to keep the issues safe for you.
I used it in the past for an old version of Avengers Reborn and after a while the issues there vanished, with only the main page still being available.
It'd be a good idea to get the stuff downloaded to a folder on your harddrive.

Yeah, Wayback is odd. Some really old stuff will remain archived but more recent stuff won't be. I'm sure someone more tech-savvy than me could explain how that works. But to me, it's just magic.

I was thinking about taking a stab at either Ultimate X-Men, or Ultimate Avengers. Is there a certain direction that you guys would like to title to go that I should keep in mind while forming a pitch?
