You know what the X-Branch needs? A revival of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, but without the 80's cheese. There was an issue of Amazing X-Men that they did do a revival with Spidey still aftermathing Doc Ock in his mind. If M2K did this more decent as a mini with maybe Video Man and Miss Lion in brief roles, and involving a major threat like Ock or someone new like Dr. Aracnoid could be great for fans of the 80's show.
I know Generation X is on hiatus under a cliffhanger, maybe someone could pull a five month gap like how Marvel did to the X-Books years ago and create a new team but keep the numbering with Kitty Pryde and Firestar training a new team of mutants.
I like also to see solo X-Titles:
Mystique Magneto The Brotherhood Firestar Cable X-23

I've always pushed for a Gambit title at the site again. I just think he'd be a perfect solo addition to the current team books we have. It's crazy to me that Marvel proper have continuously failed to make a Gambit ongoing series work...if any X-Man deserves a solo series its this guy for sure! I'm sure a series here would be pretty tight.

For the longest time I only ever saw the X-men as a team ( Wolverine seemed to be the exception)and only recently has my brain started pondering what it would be like for individual members to have solo series with their own supporting cast and rogues galleries. Given more free time and ambition it would be fun to try with someone like Iceman, Beast or Storm.

There have been some good X-based solo titles that worked, one is Brian K. Vaughn's Mystique run by making her a X-Men version of Black Widow that lasted 24 issues. I didn't like how Marvel treated Dark X-Men during the Osborn saga, when the Dark Avengers were more focused than them. The Dark X-Men weren't even there during the Siege storyline, as Dark Avengers were more spotlighted. If Marvel gave the Dark X-Men a storyline after Siege with them turning against Osborn, maybe they could be what Uncanny X-Force is by making them into a rogue X-Men team that puts fear into their enemies with X-Man joining the team. I had this idea of doing a Dark X-Men series with Wolverine leading a team of former X-Men villains like Pyro, Juggernaut, and iinto iniredemption

After watching the Cloak and Dagger trailer ( not great) I couldn't remember, are they mutants?

When they debut in the comics, they got their powers when Silvermane's drug activated their mutant powers. In the Dark Reign event, it was told that they weren't mutants. since this is in M2K universe then yes.

I've always enjoyed Cloak and Dagger but yeah that trailer felt like it was going to be the Secret Life of the American Superhero. It's a shame too because there's some good material to mine from Cloak and Dagger. Maybe throw them in a different city like Baltimore or Chicago and see how they deal with the street level issues there.

I like to see a X-Team in a different city than just NY. Marvel is just putting every hero in NY in just a cluster anyway. I like to see Spider-Man fight crime than just NY, and not as a Tony Stark ripoff.

When back when marvel first did the two X-men team thing, I thought it would be cool if one team was at the school and the other was set on Muir Island and tried to help mutants in Europe etc. With that big a separation I figured Wolverine couldn't be on both teams and it's open up the marvel U.
My other dream project is one where Quentin Quire gets the crap kicked out of him. It would be a 12 issue maxi-series. I hate that kid.

Anyone interested in doing a crossover with Venom? Maybe some mutants could come across him while he's in New York.

Following my current trend of being inspired by current bad comics:
After reading Iceman #1, I now have the urge to write a solo adventure for him that doesn't involve time traveling gay teen versions of him...maybe go all radical and have him be a super hero...? Nah, that'd never work. The kids aren't into that sort of thing.

My list: X-club: a team of mutant geniuses doing super science! Angel and Ice man: kind of a mutant Power man and Iron fist. Maybe have them take a road trip. Freedom Force: thought this could have been Marvel's Suicide Squad. Shame they never did anything with them, except treat them as red shirts. Wow, I'd love to read an X Club title. I'd be into writing a Nightcrawler mini if he's around and available somewhere?
