I've been planning a Summer writing project that will finally bring two of TV's haunting families together at last. Yes, I'm going to be working on a Munsters/Addams Family crossover e-book for Halloween. I will post chapters up on Fanfiction.net first before I merge the chapters into one e-book. Oh oh! What's your fanfiction.net link? :-D Or maybe you posted it and I looked over it??

Very cool idea, but I will be rooting for the Addams Family to win.

I always wanted to write an AVengers series.
Here is a hint, if I produce enough issues of Namor, I already have a planned story arc for Avengers Immortal

One kind of stolen from Dynamo 5 which features a bunch of kids getting one power of the Sentry/Shazam each and forming a superteam (with The Sentry there's the added fun of perhaps one of them becoming the void and did they also get his mental health issues. I just saw this and I really want to see it happen. That's a bitchin' way to use the Sentry.

Yeah I liked it, I think his powerset lend themselves nicely to having a different member having each one (or a slight mix occasionally):
Super Strength- Too strong really, it would be cool seeing some teenage dealing with class 100 strength...he'd probably have to have some invulnerability otherwise someone will just punch a whole in his chest (it would be fun having them being a 'glass cannon' though)
Invulnerability- No enhanced strength, no fighting skills but literally can't be hurt or injured. Another interesting power to look at ala Butterball from The Initiative
Superspeed- Does what it says on the tin essentially
Flight- Does what it says on the tin too
Light production- Holograms, lasers, calming energy lighting etc
Enhanced Senses- all the fun of Daredevil
You could even do Captain Planet! When enough of them get together they can summon The Sentry who has their powers/fuse into him....that way you can still have your mentally ill Superman analogy who is always going to be fun to play with.
In fact I kind of want to do a Sentry solo series too, take an Astro City kind of approach and look at the twist. How does a Superman analogy to really explore mental health, he doesn't fit many of the stereotypes and view points we normally have about the mentally ill. He kind of rewrites the power structure we often feel

Oh I'd also love to do Man-Thing!
I had a cool pitch I really liked before but found it so hard to get it up and running.
It was going to be set around the nexus in the swamp and the small town next to it/the inhabitants. Basically weird things- Gods, the things that god's fear, ghosts, a serial killer who died in the 1930s, A demonic version of the circus of crime, the war between Michael and Lucifer from the dawn of time, magic pirate ships etc come spilling through the Nexus and you've got this silent child like peace avataar trying to deal with them...and in the centre of the swamp sits a meditating wizard whose skin is burned and is clothed in ashes. He will wake when the world ends....or when he awakens the world will end. No one is totally sure on that one

I like to try my hand at a horror title. After reading Afterlife With Archie as they took a kid friendly comic and turned it into a toned down twist of The Walking Dead with most of the Archie characters now zombies. I had this idea for a Nightstalkers series with a Scooby-Doo twist about a band of teens with supernatural powers that hunt down monsters and vampires. I also thought of doing a Blade relaunch with my first arc with Blade taking on vampire versions of Archie and his friends and Sabrina The Teenage Witch was going to be a goth girl. As for Josie and the Pussycats, they were going to be real "furry."

Always thought it'd be cool to do a Man-Thing character. Steve Gerber's run is amazing!
I'm just a big dialogue writer, so a character that never talks makes me nervous. I feel like I'd go all crazy and Claremont with some kind of omniscient narrator and big chunks of exposition 'captions'. Never found the hook to get me going on it.
Same thing with Marvel's 70's Scarecrow character. Love him, but he never talks!
If I was going to write one of marvel's Superman rip-offs...ahem...I mean homages, I'd probably go for Blue Marvel. I love that he's not just black Superman, he's Black, silver age Superman.

After reading Dc's FutureQuest I just want to dedicate my life to writing Hanna-barbara fan fiction.
Forgotten how much I love those characters.

I'm planning on a reboot fan fiction series based on Hong Kong Phooey soon, set in the 21st century with a mix of TMNT and supernatural magic. I did like Future Quest, but I wish they added Jessie Bannon into the series to know that she is still part of the JQ cannon.

You should all go read Dynamo 5 by Jay Faerber. It's pretty much that story (other powers though) it's a really cool Invincible like universe of heroes and villains. He's got the best villain designs I've seen in a while. Loved that book.
I'd also love to write (or even see) a superhero who gets his superpowers by doing bad things, the worse they are the stronger he gets. So someone is robbing a bank so he has to go shoplift something to get his power boost.
A Moleman monster is on the rampage...quick kiss your best friend's girlfriend.
Stealing candy from a baby for the greater good!
How far will he go when the world is at stake? and can he live with himself later.

So someone is robbing a bank so he has to go shoplift something to get his power boost. You should track down the series Sleeper, as it featured a character with just that power, Miss Misery. The flip side was that as she did good things she would get sick. Damn but that was a good series with some great characters, and my big wish would be to write an encounter between that main character, who has a power to store and transfer pain, and a member of Stormwatch whose power was to feel the pain of everybody within a 1-mile radius.

I've become obsessed with DC's WW2 comics and their historical heroes like Viking Prince and would love to write stuff for them.
while marvel doesn't have as extensive a list of historical heroes, they do have a lot of characters with past legacies and spots where it's easy to reverse engineer characters into whatever period that'd be cool to set them in.
