The Godzilla series was a thing of beauty. I think that was the first time the Helicarrier went down.

Yeah M2K Did have a TMNT title before the changes. I took over the title when Dino stopped the series for other stuff. The Turtles have appeared in Image and currently IDW, my fave is the recent crossover with Batman. Yes, it happened. If you want to do a TMNT series here you might be put in the Alternate Imprint.

Tobias: I'm still working on my TMNT reboot series, plus I hope to get my Hong Kong Phooey project in as well.

I'm holding out for a TMNT/Hong Kong Phooey crossover....
Marvel's Godzilla series was amazing and bizarre. Love the grand finale in New York.

I want to get at least a good half dozen issues of TMNT written before I do anything with it. I have a bad habit of starting series, and then just letting them linger after a few issues. It's taken me forever just get back into my non-comic based stuff.

I know the feeling. I want to work on TMNT, Daria, Hong Kong Phooey, plus I'm secretly working on a series for M2K as we speak. Right now, I'm going to finish the first instalments of TMNT and my M2K title first, then do the first two of the other titles.

So, in the prologue to IDW's Revolution, the team up of all the Hasbro characters features a history of the GI JOE team and includes an early version of the team, and it's made up of the 70's GI JOE characters.
I owned a couple of those action figures! I love those guys!
I now want to find a Hasbro robot character from the 70's and use it to do retro version of the GI JOE/ Transformers stories.

Anyone interested in DC's new 'Young Animals' imprint?
Not sure how the titles will turn out, but the idea of one writer taking on four characters and creating his own little corner of the DC-verse is really intriguing to me. Add to it that he's going for odd, fringe characters and it's completely in my geeky wheelhouse.
I keep pondering if I had a similar deal what four characters would be on my list...

Yeah, Umbrella Academy was basically an audition to write Doom Patrol.
Fun, weird series.

Has anyone read I Hate Fairyland? You guys have to read this funny comic, cause think Disney meets Family Guy meets South Park's Imagination Land episode and blend it with Bitch Pudding as the main character.

Well, now that the 'Gold Key Alliance' series has crashed and burned, I will add Magnus, Solar and company to my list, as I love the idea and am saddened by the result.
Those guys deserved a better story.

I've started working on a Scooby-Doo reboot mini which mixes Supernatural and teen detective stories, and it will have none of the camp of the cartoon and the fake monsters. I want to do a Scooby series set in a CW style universe with Fred still the jock, Velma is a goth genius, Daphne is the rich mean girl, and Shaggy is the slacker with the heart of gold and knows how to fight. Scooby is a mystery to will bring the four teens together to solve a mystery that happened one year ago, and Scrappy is going to be a major player in the series, as he will be linked to all of this.

Those guys deserved a better story. Wow. I just read the ending of that. Wow. Mugged off, or what? That was awful. Hester is normally really good. I wonder if Dynamite have just stopped paying the licencing fees for those characters. Makes you wonder though, you look at Valiant, and at Divinity, and the up-coming Savage, and wonder...this is what they do when they don't have the rights to Turok, Magnus, et al, and they've played it so much better. I feel, at present, that Valiant really is pushing through with this idea of an "Ultimate" line, more so than DC who did a halfway house with Nu52, and more so than Marvel, who had a side universe they let Loeb murder. All we need now is Wildstorm to return, properly, and we're set!

I would so write a GI Joe. They had a contest a few years ago (Gi Joe official site) and you had to send in your dream GI Joe team with reasons to be put against other Joe teams. If teams mirrored each other the later entrant would be dropped. My team made it to the final 8.
Is GI Joe really an option, Dave?
