Thanks, guys, for the kind words. He's an interesting write.
The Blacklash tussle seemed to resonate. That's great. I've always been a fan of Scarlotti's.
I'll get to some of my own reviews soon.

More reviews, more reviews I say, at least that's what's blowing in on that warm west wind. Having already covered Hulk, Force, New Warriors and Black Panther (see above) it's time to tackle the other four titles (Spider-Man reviews will be coming later this week) before everything blows over. But will these titles be a hurricane force second wind or a big ole blowout. Let's find out...
Avengers #71 - Something went down in Wakanda, I don't know what but it sure looks like Vision isn't getting away with just a fine. Not only that but it sets up the oncoming Avengers vs X Men event we've all been waiting for (or at least I have) very nicely. And if that wasn't enough we have even more storylines being set out for the post event. It's clear that Steve Crosby has big plans for this title, and to be honest it's well deserving of them. Hopefully after C.O.D.E and AvX is done, we can see them come to fruition. I suspect they will be well worth the wait.
Rating - 9.5/10 (Hurricane)
C.O.D.E Confidential #3 - Dave Golightly proves once again that he's a grand master with this issue of C.O.D.E where he almost effortlessly brings in aspects of, not just his own stories but the Avengers and X-Men effortlessly. Along with this ability, he proves how easily he can shift the tone of a scene from a friendly competition into something that's a matter of life or death so smoothly. With the C.O.D.E members revealing themselves, it looks like we're about to kick into high gear. Whose C.L.O.C will be cleaned and who'll get away with murder is unknown at the moment, but I can't wait to find out.
Rating - 9/10 (Hurricane)
Ghost Rider #7 - Perhaps this title should be called Ghost Riders? With that out the way, I can honestly say this was (for me) the most surprising story of the March Release. While I knew that Travis Hiltz would not let me down on quality, this title was easy to read and quite frankly the most enjoyable title I've read (even more so then Force, a title I was waiting for with baited breath. In addition the narrative set up the story line featuring the Salem Seven extraordinarily well. Far from needing a ghost of a chance to shine, this title is roaring down the freeway with the best of them.
Rating - 9.75/10 (Hurricane)
Young Avengers #6 - Dan Dolan's teen hero piece looks like its coming to a close, at least for a while. That is a sad thing indeed, especially when, over the last few issues and the marked improvement as the writer grows in confidence and skill. This issue teased the hero on hero fight trope, but Dan turned it round and thus proved how savvy a writer he had become. If indeed Young Avengers is coming to an end (see topic on the Heroes board for more info) I am not worrying about the next project the writer is undertaking, in fact I look forward to seeing how the skills honed on this title, will be used in the future.
Rating - 9/10 (Hurricane)

First thing first, Dave, the link on the New Releases page works fine but when I tried the link for Avengers #71 on the main Avengers page it took me to #70. What works fine is this link: marvel2k.weebly.com/uploads/6/7/4/0/67406291/avengers_8-13.pdf which will tell everybody exactly what Vision did in Wakanda. Thanks to everybody for their kind words on the story, I've been thinking of how to approach Vision from the moment I took over the title I can't wait to finally cross the finish line on this. As for Scarlet Witch, I have a very specific take on her powers which is by no means reality-warping. The procedural stuff was a lot of fun, as was shaping the dialogue for everybody. Almost as much fun as crafting the fights, of which there will be some big ones soon. I'll try to get some reviews in this weekend.

Wow, thanks for the shining review! I was worried how people would react to the kind of repetitive structure of the story. It was fun beating the crap out of all my heroes, I'm glad that seems to have come through.
Course after getting such a great review I now feel very guilty that I'm so behind in my reading/reviewing.

And so we have one last review quartet, this time all dedicated to Amazing Spider Man #50, which has lovingly been written by JD Mathis and Tony Thornley. So let us rub our pedipals with glee, scan the text with our eight unblinking eyes and get that warm feeling rushing through our cephalothoraxs as we get ready for...wait this isn't my spider audience. How embarrassing, but for all you manly spiders and spidery men out there lets get started with this final March review.
Six Months Later - The return everyone in the M2K community has been waiting for; Armada makes his presence known once again, this time for keeps. What do you mean that this is a Spider-Man series? All in all, this story was the perfect Spider-Man story, going back to basics with out the complications that have plagued the post Superior arc. Not only is the narrative and dialogue well constructed the story bumps along at the write pace, and definitely gets us ready for what hopefully will be a long and enjoyable series. And while it's nice to Spider-Man back once again, well come on its Armada (I kid, nice work guys).
Rating - 9.5/10 (Very Manly Spider)
The Boss - Norman Osborne is always dangerous, and here we get to see a Norman in control of his actions, unfettered by the madness that has become part and parcel with the character, almost as much as his cool glider and pumpkin bombs. Not only that but we get to see his motives, his plan and his resources. While the Green Goblin has always been able to get Spider-Man on the ropes, this time I believe he may just be sending the wall crawler to the morgue.
Rating - 9/10 (Very Manly Spider)
The Many Lives of Otto Octavius - What in my opinion was the weakest story of the trio, but likely only because it was the shortest. It did set up what is to be Otto's role in the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man series, and it also placed more players on the board, all of whom will be out for blood. By any means this is not a bad story, I just wish there was more.
Rating - 8/10 (Very Manly Spider)
Memories - Perhaps the most entreating of the stories, and not just because it featured Angar the Screamer, a particular favourite of mine. What makes this tale so great is that it feels self aware of what actually seems to be happing in real life with the MCU. And as anyone who has written or attempted to write a Deadpool (or She Hulk) story will tell you there is a fine line between breaking the 4th Wall and demolishing it in an undignified manner and tossing the brick dust into a deep pit. So kudos to the writers, not only for creating four brilliant tales, but also getting the right blend of story and satire in 'Memories'
Rating - 9/10 (Very Manly Spider)

We are already hard at work with #51 as we speak. The goal for us is have Peter trying to balance family, work, and being Spider-Man while also taking on even more responsibility in the form of a couple new little web slingers. As for villains let’s just say that just about anyone who has been a Spidey villain will have picked s side between Norman and Otto by the time this is over. Also a friends will turn enemies and an enemy or two will turn allies before it’s all said and done. Now as for Norman for the time being the reason behind his change will be a mystery. I have always believed that a Norman with out the Goblin psychosis is much more dangerous then the Green Goblin could ever be. When Norman and Peter come face to face it will be a match for the ages.

Like I said before, JD did the villain stuff and I actually kind of loved what he did with Armada. I think he was way more interesting here than he ever was before. I did keep the Otto story short but he will be back in a big way before this arc is over, with his new allies. Glad you wanted more. 😁

Stuff with Iceman and Alpha nearly made the cut, with Spidey questioning why anyone would want Alpha hanging around.
