Couple more:
What if it had been the original X-men and Brotherhood of evil mutants line ups in the first movie? They could even keep the black leather.
And the sequel to my all black Avengers: The Lady Avengers:
She-Hulk Sature and Yellowjacket 2 Iron Maiden Sif Miss America ( she is Cap as a girl. I'm just using the name of another GA hero.)
Maybe instead of Yellowjacket, I'd have it be an Ant-man, as the group's token guy.

What If...Nick Fury had formed the X-Men?
It makes a lot of sense, actually. Mutants are starting to come out of the wood work, so Nick Fury forms a special SHIELD Task Force X division populated by mutants. Running the program is a young Charles Xavier, who was recruited by Fury before he developed Cerebro. Not wanting to use teenagers in the field, however, Fury would recruit older mutants to populate his team of X-Men.

Miss America ( she is Cap as a girl. I'm just using the name of another GA hero.) I'm disappointed you don't mean America Chavez. What If...Reed Richards had never looked at Victor Von Doom's notes? Had that experiment blown up in his face and there wasn't even that barest hint of interference....yeah, Doctor Doom would still blame that accursed Richards! And wow, it's possible for Hank Pym to form his own team. Giant-Man (Bill Foster) Ant-Man (Scott Lang) Yellowjacket II Stature and her MC2 counterpart Stinger (why some brilliant writer hasn't used Secret Wars to have them meet, I'll never know)

I just wanted the name, some girl sounding 'America' name, but would have her be basically 'Stephanie Rogers'.
Wasn't there a 'What if...?' issue where Doom turned entirely to magic to save his mom and basically became Dr. Strange?

Yes! What If #22, and it all starts with Doom actually listening to Richards. But as is typically with What Ifs, things get much worse.
Hmmm, What If....Dazzler had listened to her father and gone into law? She would still have wacky adventures with numerous guest stars, eventually meets She-Hulk, they form Blair & Walters: Attorneys for Hire!

Oh, I would by that lady lawyer series in a second!
Especially when you get to the inevitable Daredevil crossover.

There was a recent issue where Daredevil was recounting an early fight with Hawkeye in which Hawkeye used his flare arrow and, upon expressing aloud why Daredevil wasn't affected, Daredevil waaaay overacted being blinded. That would make for a great battle against Dazzler. Her power is useless against him, but if he capitalized on that it would give away his secret.
Although....as Dazzler creates light by absorbing sound, a blanket of silence would certainly affect Daredevil. I'm not even sure his radar would fully work, all the sound waves going straight to her. Huh, I'm going to have to go see if they've ever actually met.

What if Jack Kirby never went to DC and The New Gods, Demon, Omac and Kamandi were part of the MU?
What if the Guardians movie had featured the original team from 3,000 AD?
What if the FF had saved the Earth by becoming the heralds of Galactus?

I like that FF idea.

Thanks. It's one of those that got scribbled down in my notebook of ideas, years ago when I was doing fanfic regularly.
Never got to do anything with it, but it keeps bubbling to the surface of my brain.

What If....Mystique visited the Skrull Throneworld and shows them how a shapeshifter can really secretly invade?

What if...Danny Rand had rejected the power of the Iron Fist?
Danny trained for years before being allowed to even attempt taking the power of the Iron Fist. What if there was some kind of corruption in Kun L'un that made him turn away from the chance of gaining the power? Given his intense training, he would still be a formidable foe, but would he have become a hero and joined up with Luke Cage? Do the powers make the hero, or does the hero exist regardless of his capabilities? I could see this story turning into someone stepping into the role of the Iron Fist, the role that Danny left behind. Someone who is also corrupt who Danny has to go up against.

What If...Superpatriot had not become Captain America?
Officially finding him to be unstable, The Commission on Superhuman Activities rejects John Walker and instead makes the bold choice of Lemar Hoskins as the new Captain America! How would 1980's react to a black man in the red, white, and blue? Pretty much how the Red Skull would expect, particularly when he's building up a bitter Superpatriot as a truly American independent hero and Steve Rogers is still out there doing his thing as The Captain. Faced with racial backlash, would Lemar spiral in a similar cycle of violence that would have far more devastating consequences? The violent murder of Superpatriot, seemingly at the new Captain America's hands, would threaten to spark just the sort of racial war the Red Skull desires. Just the right moment for someone looking just like Steve Rogers to show up and retake the shield.

What if Professor X and Magneto switched roles...? Arrogant due to his power of mind control, Xavier sees himself as superior to homo sapiens and instead fans his students feelings of hate and persecution. So, it's up to Magneto, more compassionate after his time inprisioned by the nazis to form a Brotherhood of mutants to stop them!
Heck, you even put Magneto in a wheelchair and have the original Brotherhood line up wearing the old X-men uniforms.

What If...Hercules had Died?
Wasp pays her last respects to Hercules, and there is no revelation that he survived the assault by the Masters of Evil. Hardened, Wasp leads a team to retake Avengers Mansion. Absorbing Man and Titania were not previously defeated and so joined their fellow villains in the mansion. The battle is that much more destructive, with more deaths on both sides, though the Avengers do emerge triumphant.
Then Zeus takes vengeance, and there is no recovered Hercules to stay his father's hand. Wasp takes full responsibility, sacrificing her life so that her fellow Avengers live. But much diminished by these recent trials, could they survive what's to come?
