I liked the Kyle Baker series better for it's cartoon style humor. When I did Plastic Man for JLU2001 I used characters like Agent Beth Morgan and Edwina the Vampire Girl from Kyle's run for my series. My arc was going to be my version of the South Park episode Imagination Land with iconic characters popping up in the DC universe and Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit as the main villain.
I would like to do a DC2K version of Plas and bring those characters back even the humor set where the Baker run ended.

What do you guys think of the Plastic Man series by Gail Simone??? Didn't love it. Appreciate Gail trying to build him back up, but not a fan of the current jokey, goofy Plas.

When Plas was done in animation like his old cartoon series he was more action and less comedic. Similar to Plas in Justice League Action he was more comedic like when he posed as Two-Face to distract from being assassinated by Deadshot. I even liked Plas from Brave and the Bold as it was a mix of a comedic and Plas in his old life.

Phil Foglio and Jack Cole were my favorite Plastic Man writers, although I do love Grant Morrisons take before he made the hero a little bit overly goofy

And, there's Damage gone.
So, we are down to two.

The Silencer is ending as well so that just leaves Terrifics. Which, in my opinion, despite having Mr Terrific and Metamorpho...really, super duper bland.

I have to say I see the line had potential and did their best.

Shame Age of heroes is going the way of Milestone. Lots of good ideas here, even if I wasn't't always thrilled with all the executions.
But, I did have Terrifics as last man standing in the betting pool.

Well these heroes can have a good hone at DC2K at least. Got some big things in store for Sideways.

There's great ideas/characters there. It'd be a shame if DC (or us) ignored them.

I would give an arm and a leg to see Damage meet Icon Could happen at DC2K if you wanted to arrange such a meeting.

You know, Damage did absolutely nothing for me. Same as Challengers. Partly because of the Artwork, I really don't like Andy Kubert's art, and that totally turned me off Challengers. Equally, I really don't like Aaron Lopresti's art, which ruined Damage, but I just have no vested interest in it.
I don't know, I feel like DC don't have a clear handle on what they're offering at the moment. Back when it was the Nu52, they had sub-groupings, Dark, Justice, etc. Those gave the titles a "feel". They put out cool books like Animal Man or Swamp Thing or I,Vampire through this little imprints, but now we're just getting more of the same. More Superman, more Batman. I am, genuinely, surprised that Aquaman is still going. Every now and then something quirky and interesting pops up, like Martian Manhunter, or Electric Warriors, but for every one of them, we get two bloody Bat books.

I like the new Wonder Comics imprint. To bad Wonder Twins is a 6 issue mini, as this is the reason I plan to have them in Teen Titans as a modern take on them than their 70's-80's counterparts.
